Some good restaurants close by but not many shops, etc. the family that runs the guesthouse is super nice and they let me checkout a bit later.

The local surroundings were peaceful and full of life, with animals roaming freely and a nearby pool perfect for cooling down on hot days. The house offered great comfort and a unique blend of local character and modern convenience. It was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka and truly a place to recharge and enjoy the beauty of everyday life. We highly recommend Neem Tree House to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Yala. It’s a place where nature, comfort, and kindness come together beautifully.

Very close to beaches and amenities. Host and all staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was enormous and extremely yummy. Wi-Fi excellent. Thoroughly recommend you stay here.

There is literally nothing else we could have ask for this place heaven in earth. But that’s just the house itself what have make this trip unforgettable , the Staff Randi our main host is an amazing man who have been taking care of us from minute one . The rest of the staff are always looking to make your trip as easy as possible from giving you welcoming drinks to have you hop in this tuk-tuk to show you his beloved city . If you are in Yala this place is a must.

Our one-night stay at this villa was truly enjoyable. The property is only about 100 meters from the beach, so it was easy to walk over and enjoy the sea breeze whenever we wanted. The villa itself is very spacious, nicely designed, and kept very clean. It offered a perfect mix of comfort and privacy. The large swimming pool was the highlight — sparkling clean, well-maintained, and big enough to really enjoy a proper swim, not just a quick dip. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the poolside, which made our stay even more special. What impressed us most was the peaceful atmosphere. The area is calm and quiet, away from crowds, yet still close enough to the beach and local surroundings. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. Even though we only stayed one night, it felt like a refreshing getaway. This villa is perfect for both short and long stays, and we would definitely choose it again in the future.

We are from Japan. The villa is new, very clean, and fully equipped with everything you need, including a fridge and washing machine. There is also a beautiful infinity pool, perfect for relaxing. The host is very friendly and also offers motorbike rentals at a really good price. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again!

They offered us fresh coconut when arriving, lent their bike, and showed so many places worth visiting around Tangalle. Here you’ll experience true Sri Lankan hospitality. The location is also great. There are many small shops around and is very close to the center. The beach is a short walk away. Don’t think twice before booking. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I spent unforgettable days at the Eco Oasis Villa in Tangalle. I would call this place a perfect villa for romantic getaways — a true gift for the soul and body, nestled near the jungle, far from the road, surrounded by peace and quiet. The villa is located in a serene, secluded area, just a short walk from the beautiful Goyambokka Beach — just a few minutes' leisurely stroll and you find yourself on a superb beach with calm waters, which is quite rare for this coastline. This is our third year in the southern part of Sri Lanka, and what impressed us the most was that we felt like guests of the local flora and fauna — it was mesmerizing. We saw mongooses, peacocks, monkeys, and monitor lizards. The accommodation itself is cozy and stylish, decorated in a national eco-style with great attention to detail. High ceilings and panoramic windows! The tropical stone shower is spacious and beautifully designed. Everything was clean, spacious, and very thoughtfully arranged. We especially loved the lush green garden surrounding the villa — it felt like living in the middle of the jungle, but with all the comforts, especially with the lovely veranda. The host, Dilith, is incredibly hospitable and kind, speaks excellent English (which is rare here), and helped us with everything we needed. He arranged airport transfer for an extra fee, recommended great places nearby, and even treated us to fresh fruit and coconuts! If you're looking for a place to completely relax, feel connected to nature, and still enjoy comfort — Eco Oasis in Tangalle is the perfect choice. I also rented a Mahindra scooter from him for a reasonable price — it rides like a ship on the road, heavy and very stable. The powerful air conditioner, smart switches, and multi-function shower really surprised me. The blender, toaster, and both gas and electric stove were also very useful.
