The hotel is a little oasis in the midst of Dambulla. Perfectly situated to visit Sigirya, Polonnaruwa and the Dambulla caves. Our rooms were charming; set in magical gardens with a beautiful swimming pool. Best of all were the owners and staff. Chandima went out of his way (literally, as he took us into town to get food and to the caves!) to help us and he and his wife were incredibly welcoming. One special mention for Nishi, who makes the best egg hoppers in Sri Lanka, and whose breakfasts fuel you for the long day of sightseeing ahead! A huge thank you from the three of us.

We also had food prepared there, and it was absolutely delicious—some of the best meals we had during our trip! Fresh, flavorful, and made with so much heart. If you're looking for a relaxing and memorable stay, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed, well-fed, and so grateful. Can't wait to go back!

There was enough space to park our Tuktuk.

This hotel was so wonderful !! First the place is particularly beautiful, the house has been made with a lot of taste and every detail is perfectly adjusted. (It's even better than the pictures). You are lost in the nature so this is a very good break to relax during the trip. Above all, the couple working there is amazing! They are kind and so helpful. Their food is delicious ! We booked the cooking demonstration and it was a really nice experience :) this hotel was from far the best of our 10 days trip !

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view of the Lion Rock is fantastic! The cabin was perfect for us:) Peter called me when we arrived and explained all ins and outs of the area and gave us some great advice. He was happy to answer any of our questions any time of the day. The cabin with its garden are very private and amazing for some wildlife spotting. Our kids loved it. There is also a wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. Sumith put the fire on for us and Raja swiftly organised and delivered yeast and flour from the local bakery for our pizza baking experience:) We all had a lot of fun kneading the dough and baking pizza in a real outdoor pizza oven! It was delicious:). We used bicycles provided free of charge, washing machine and there is a drinking water dispenser in the cabin, so no need to buy bottled water:) We loved seeing wild chickens coming to the garden and peacocks were always a good entertainment for the kids;) Sumith brought us, freshly picked from the garden, jackfruit to try;)

The environment was absolutely stunning—a true oasis of peace. The host was incredibly kind and prepared breakfast for us, even though we informed him about our early departure at the last minute. We had an amazing experience with a traditional Sri Lankan cooking class led by his mother, and the host kindly arranged transportation whenever we needed it. Honestly, even without any planned activities, just staying here would be a fulfilling experience.

Had an amazing time at this lovely place. The room was nice, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh and full of local flavors. The house lady was so kind and welcoming, made us feel right at home. Plus, the location is perfect with Sigiriya Rock just a few minutes away. Highly recommend!
