They are recently opened so limited reviews but it’s a charming safari bungalow, the only one on the property, with a beautiful garden and thoughtful dining area for guests. Speaking of dining, this will be the best, most prolific food you’ve had in Sri Lanka. They really thoughtfully accommodated my vegetarian and gluten free diet with ease. There is a lovely river near the property you can explore and enjoy reading and relaxing between safari journeys and be well taken care of. They coordinated our safari, which was incredible! So many up close elephant encounters!, and helped us with transportation to them and away, making the whole experience care free and enjoyable. If you can enjoy a rustic safari cabin experience (well, not so rustic because there is a/c 😆) while being cared for by the sweetest family then look no further and enjoy Green Paradise.

We stayed in a new apartment for 2 people. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the beautiful terrace. teshi and his family were great hosts and made us feel at home upon our arrival. They organized a great safari trip in Udawalawe National Park where we saw many elephants, hunting crocodiles and large groups of buffalo. Also, they prepared a wonderful dinner and a delicious breakfast.

Great location with an amazing view. The pool was beautiful. The access road isn’t the easiest, but it’s worth it. I learned that the owner prefers not to improve the road to protect the environment, and I completely agree. They arranged a 4WD vehicle from Kalawana, and that ride itself was an unforgettable experience. The staff were excellent. Our driver was careful, skilled, and drove like a pro, calm and friendly throughout. Then there’s our friend Ravi; a truly great person who treated us exceptionally well. He was considerate, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to provide anything we needed. The food was fantastic, with plenty of fresh and delicious fruits. The Sri Lankan breakfast was especially tasty. They also arranged a Singharaja tour for us, including a waterfall visit, which was a wonderful experience. Definitely worth the price. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the whole experience.

Firstly, I would like to compliment the couple who will host you. Krishantha will be around majority of the time throughout your stay and will ensure you are having a pleasant stay. Her breakfasts are generous and delicious. They were really wonderful to us and another who had been scammed before arriving at their gate late in the day, desperate for a room. They welcomed us warmly and set up the rooms for us within 5 minutes. The rooms were spacious, very clean and nicely designed. We booked a safari with them and they offered us an incredible deal as they have their own jeep. Although we had a mix up of communication between us and them in regards to the safari (and we were very on edge after nearly being scammed twice the previous day) but all was peacefully resolved. I fully recommend their safari - this is not one of those reviews that I had to do, it is genuine. Our safari was incredible. As it was a slower pace than Yala (which I did not enjoy), we actually got to see so much wildlife! Our driver/guide was very informative and we learned so much from him. He made sure to stop whenever we saw something, instead of darting off to desperately find a single elephant being surrounded by a million trucks. It was thoroughly enjoyable and a real highlight of my trip.
