The location of the camp and our camel ride to the camp was an unforgettable experience. We have never been to the desert before and it felt like a perfect first time experience to us. The tent was spacious and comfy. They supplied many blankets to not get cold during the night. The staff welcomed us very warmly. Tipp from us and our host: please always check the location of the camps on Google maps before booking, there are some fake camps on the booking platforms.

We stayed in an amazing apartment in Merzouga hosted by Youssef, and it was a great experience overall. The apartment was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds, and the living area was a nice place to relax after exploring the dunes. The small kitchen had what we needed for basic meals, and the air conditioning worked well in the main rooms. Youssef was a super helpful and kind host — he helped us arrange a camel ride to the desert, and gave us local tips about where to eat and what to see around the area. He was always available if we had any questions, but also gave us our privacy. The location is good — close enough to walk to local shops and cafés, and only a short walk or drive to the dunes. The accommodation is huge, safe, and perfect; the people are so welcoming and nice. We felt like we were at home; we had been treated really well. People are super gentle, and they speak Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French, which made our communication pretty easy. I extremely recommend this place, the highlight of our adventure was Merzouga and the desert! Thanks once again to Youssef and everyone from Sahara Dream Apartment!!
