The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. This was one of the nicest acommodations I have ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it! The decor with the little fireplace was so cozy and the view outside marvellous. Even in bad weather we loved being on Sakrisøy because our place was so nice :) We also enjoyed the many photography spots, the food place, and the antique store close by (walking distance)!

Fantastic location with a boardwalk and view of the fjord. Staff were so welcoming! The main house has a great bar and an amazing breakfast buffet included. Two bedrooms upstairs were a comfortable size and living and kitchen area were costly and well equipped. Loved this place!

I chose the accommodation using the filter “24-hour reception,” assuming there would be a self check-in option – since our ferry was scheduled to arrive in Bodø at 00:30. The owners were so kind and waited for us until half past one in the morning, and Jens came to check us in! The accommodation is clean, the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. I also noticed there is a washing machine and dryer available (we didn’t use it as we left in the morning). Once again, thank you very much!

I had a great stay: Short but friendly welcome by the host, nice apartment, well-equiped kitchen, comfy bed. I even got to catch a few rays of sunshine on the terrace.

This was one of our best and most memorable stays anywhere! Inside the Glampingdome is luxurious with high quality furnishings and bedding. I don’t know how I’ll ever go camping without matching powered recliners again 😂. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. There was a high degree of attention to detail throughout. The surroundings are stunning and we feel fortunate to have experienced a stay here. Thank you, Freddie & Marianne, for sharing your slice of heaven with us.
