He also gave us an excellent recommendation for a local izakaya, which was the perfect spot for dinner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and personal experience!

The owner and his mother were so kind, they gave us many advice and news about the current event and matsuri. The house is a lovely japanese one with a nice view on the river. It was very big and comfortable for our family. All necessary equipment (bath, laundry, towels, kitchen..);and also nice gifts 😁. It also work like a small conbini as you can buy noodle, drinks whatever you need in the house.

We felt right at home in Yunohirakan. The rooms were comfortable, and the very quiet location as well as the height allowed us to sleep comfortably with the windows open. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And we especially loved the evening meals which were delicious!

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. Room is very large and Nice view. Staffs very helpful and nice. Dinner with Hida beef is very great.

This is the best ryokan we stayed considering their price range. Food is overflowing and their hospitality is unmatched! There is also a private onsen in the facility. They don't discriminate race or those with tattoos.

Auberge Hidanomori se nachází v tichých kopcích, 10 minut jízdy kyvadlovou dopravou od stanice JR Takayama. V roce 2022 byl znovu otevřen po rekonstrukci. Snídaně a večeře dokonalá, pokoj velký, pohodlný a čistý. Kyvadlová doprava na nádraží a do centra města funguje dokonale. Krásné a tiché místo na okraji města u lesa.

Yatsusankan starší 6 let se nachází 6 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží JR Hidafurukawa a nabízí ubytování v tradičním japonském stylu s prostornými veřejnými lázněmi. Customer Service The customer service from the staff is exceptional. I believe the hotel/staff uses Booking.com as the main communication, after I completed the booking, they sent me a message a few days before the check-in to let me know some basic info. I overlooked it. Otherwise, when you arrived the hotel, there was a staff that showed you around the hotel, introducing you the facilities, the procedures and regulations, what time is dinner/breakfast, what to eat, bathhouse regulations, etc... They will help you with your luggage and as I drove to the hotel, you just need to drive to the front door and they'll help you park the car. Room The room is spacious and clean with separate toilet and shower/bath. If you choose the tatami bed rooms, not to worry about it. Whilst you have your dinner, they will set it up for you so when you return to your room, its well set up. Bathhouse / Onsen They are clean and very comfortable. Obviously there are separate male and female ones with indoor and outdoor available. Two very different settings. We only managed to explore the outdoor ones. For the outdoor ones, they usually change it overnight to give both male and females a different environment and views. I would suggest you to visit it at check-in and go for a quick visit in the morning before you check out. As I only stayed for 1 night, I didn't manage to have time to visit the indoor one. Food I chose the dinner and breakfast option, it was very delicious and well enough to eat. Most of the dishes were small portions but after a few dishes it should be enough. Inside the room there is a biscuit and tea available. Environment There are plenty of resting and lounge areas for you to sit down to read, watch your on tablet or chat with friends/family/partner or simply just zone. There is one big lounge or resting area that has 2 massage chairs, 2 sofas with some basic small massage equipments to massage yourself.

Location, private onsen in the suite, kaiseki dinner is elegant and delicious, so is the delicious breakfast, both served in our room, it’s a great experience. The staffs are very warm and helpful. It gave free entrance ticket to the big public onsen which is a great extra benefit.

民泊Azoo se nachází v destinaci Gujo a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a TV s plochou obrazovkou. Hida Minzoku Mura skanzen se nachází 49 km odtud a Širakawago 40 km. Really nice and cosy accommodation. The hosts were very friendly and went above and beyond to help us when we needed it. Highly recommend.

Apollon se nachází ve čtvrti Gujo Hachiman v destinaci Gujo a nabízí pračku. K zajímavým místům v blízkém okolí patří Gujohachiman Rakugeikan. Gujo Hachiman is a lovely small town, and あぽろん is ideally located as a base for a visit. The accommodation is shared with the owners, but is private. Bedrooms are upstairs, but the bathroom and toilet is downstairs. The hosts were very helpful, despite having limited English, thanks to Google translate.
