Just 250 metres from Lake Wakatipu, Alexis Motel & Apartments features a large shared patio offering views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables Mountains. A beautifully maintained motel with all new furnishings. Excellent cooking facilities and amenities. Kind staff, and in an easily accessible location, just out of the town centre. Even got a room upgrade to a bigger room upon checking in. Air conditioning in the room was much appreciated, considering a lot of accomodation in New Zealand doesn't have it.

Great views around, quiet neighborhood(besides the planes) and private spot we were in. Not too far from Frankton's airport/shopping center.The shower was the best feature of the property with its strong water pressure. However, part of the electric blanket wasn't working upon arrival either. It didn't really matter to me, but worth mentioning for the next guests. We'll definitely be back again next time we fly down to queenstown.

The room was impeccable. Everything was absolutely clean and tidy. Breakfast with the lake view is absolutely stunning. 15 minutes walking distance from the city center and there is a 5 minute workout to reach the house from the main street, but it is ok. There are bus stops nearby to/from the airport/city center.
