Very close to the bus station and a short walk to city centre - it was nice though to stay away from the main road. We booked a massage and the lady was really good! Posada Los Alamos is situated in the heart of El Calafate, close to Argentino Lake. It has spa facilities, an indoor pool and free Wi-Fi in all areas. The hotel is probably one of the best in El Calafate. The room we booked was comfortable and nice. We had some changes to the plans and dates and the staff was really helpful. Many thanks to them. They were always very friendly and positive. Breakfast was good. The food at the restaurant was really tasty. We didn't try the spa facilities but they looked really nice.

Lagos Del Calafate 4-star hotel is located in the city of El Calafate, at the base of Cerro Calafate with incomparable views to Argentinian Lake and only 100mts. from Av. I have stayed here twice now. The spa and pool are a plus. The rooms are nice and the hotel is well staffed. Breakfast was good but not great.

Blanca Patagonia is a charming boutique hotel in El Calafate, southern Patagonia. This small 4-star offers cosy guest rooms, great lake views and friendly service in a picturesque location. Perfect view from room and from breakfast. Nice terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to have dinner in the hotel. Food is awesome. If you arrive you may consider the price of the restaurant somewhat expensive. But El Calafate is very expensive. And compared to other restaurants we tried, the hotel is by far the best choice for a decent dinner.
