We were very happy to be able to check-in after check-in hours. We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.

El MONDI Chalets am Grundlsee se encuentra en Grundlsee, a 83 km de Salzburgo, y ofrece 2 restaurantes y WiFi gratuita. The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.
