What a beautiful property. We loved relaxing by the fire pit with a glass of wine at night and waking up to a fresh & extensive breakfast spread. The quality of nearby restaurants varies pretty widely, so it was nice to have the dinner option in the hotel as well. The unique, Gaudi-inspired design of the property was gorgeous, but it was the gardens that really blew me away. I recommend joining the free guided hike, but note that it takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours if you need to check out that day. While short, parts were strenuous & it is in Spanish. The area caters to local travelers but was one of our favorite stops in our 2 week trip around central & northern Chile. The hotel is about 1 1/2 hours from the hot springs, which was a stunning & slightly terrifying drive.

GPS gets you there without problems. Nice hot tub (extra cost) and swimming pool. Hosts are extremely helpful and gentle. I had a massage (Carolina). She is an angel!

I recommend 4 wheel drive to access!! Pablo and Maria could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The cabins are so cute and cozy and the grounds and surrounding area are beautiful. If you are looking for an off the grid eco getaway give it a try!!! Our family spent 2 nights there and would have loved to stay longer!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SEL Lodge - Aventura y Descanso features an outdoor swimming pool and a spa in Cajon del Maipo. It offers free Wi-Fi and Continental breakfast. Lagunilla ski centre is 25 km away. Great location. Peaceful and green surroundings. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of secure parking. Lots of nature activities. Best place we stayed in South America.

A few small issues were dealt with quickly by staff. Pools were clean. grandkids liked the games room and trampoline.
