The interior of the hotel captivated me at first sight, I'm a tea guy so I was definitely the target audience. The common area and dining space has great views on the city, the interior of the hotel is just mind blowing, and the best part was tea-making kit in the room in a separated corner of the room, high-quality black tea was provided. This is something I've never experienced before, at least not this high quality. I'll go back to Guilin, just to stay here again.

Besides the most amazing staff team, the surrounding views and scenery in this area is breathtaking, the rooms are just as seen on photos, and the room views are one of a kind. Melody and her team provided not only a place for my grandparents to stay, but a lasting memory of Guilin and the people you can potentially meet along your travels. Positioned along Taohua River, Secret Courtyard Resort Hotel boasts a Chinese-style courtyard and is located in Lujia Village, just 2 km from downtown Guilin. Xiao Ming made the experience an excellent one. He looked after us very well. We couldn't decide whether we should do the 4 hour Li River cruise but he suggested a different tour between Guilin and Yangshuo. We visited an ancient town, went on a bamboo boat up the river and stopped for lunch. The breakfast was a choice between Guilin rice noodles and toast. The villa was great and the electric ma Jong table and added bonus. It was cold because we came in Dec but each room had a heat pump so we were cosy
