We had a fantastic stay at Bora Bora. The staff here were exceptional, especially Miguel Angel, who tended to our every need and made this experience extra special. Miguel was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Also, a special mention to Jorge who checked us in and organized our plankton tour. We also used their paddle boards and snorkels in the morning which was amazing. Highly recommend Bora Bora to anyone traveling to Isla Grande, we really didn’t want to leave!

Featuring a restaurant and direct access to a private beach, Hotel Punta Faro offers rooms with free WiFi and air conditioning in Cartagena de Indias. We absolutely loved our 5 nights at Punta Faro. The place is tastefully designed and easily blends in with the natural beauty of the island. There are plenty of deck chairs, loungers and hammocks to enjoy the private beach and the lovely sunsets with a happy hour cocktail in hand. Plenty of water activities to do from diving, snorkelling, kayaking and a night trip to see fitoplankton (magical, not to be missed). We stayed in a garden view room and found it very comfortable and big enough for our family of 3. Great food with fresh fish and seafood everyday. Best of all was the management and the staff who made us feel very welcome and were very receptive to the needs of our small son. We can’t wait to be back.

He went beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He made us feel like beautiful princesses. We loved Leonardo!

Expect some poolside activity and loud music. Check their Instagram page before booking so you won’t be one of those disappointed want-to-be-secluded-couples… We were completely aware of this and our family with 3 little ones enjoyed every second of it including moments of romantic and quiet stay. Once the day crowds are gone at 5pm it turns to an even more amazing place. The staff were so accommodating for every need much more than we were expecting. Food is great no dish disappointed. Either poolside or cabañas are always priority for guests over day-pass visitors so don’t worry. Communication for every room service need with WhatsApp was flawless. Ocean is a bit choppy but you can find rockless entrance spots. We will definitely return. Thanks Dani y Jorge
