The hotel is located in the heart of Santa Marta to all the historical sites, beach, marina, restaurants and shopping. One would think the area would be noisy or bustling but the hotel was quiet and extremely welcoming! The women staff are exceptional!!! They helped with taxis, food recommendations, tours and locations. Breakfast was delicious and healthy! Our suite had a kitchen so that was such an added bonus! We felt like it was home and would definitely stay there again!

It is easy to mingle around without getting lost inside the hotel. I didn’t use the spa which seem amazing but I am definitely coming back and that will be one of the things I won’t miss. 🥰

The nights are super fun full with entertainment and the days are full with activities for everyone.

We travel with a lot of people and made some changes that would actually would have been rejected somewhere else but they handle the situation with a lot of patience and professional. YAY Sustainable nabízí ubytování v klidné atmosféře, zahradu se stolem, bílou bílkovinnou kuchyní, jógovou šalu, džunglové lázně, přírodní bazén a pláž u řeky. Mezi parkem Tayrona a Ciudad Perdida... Yay sustainable was idyllic. We found ourselves immediately decompressing from the hustle and bustle of traveling. The surroundings were tranquil and refreshing, waking up to the sound of the jungle was magical. The restaurant food was healthy, delicious and reasonably priced. We loved our morning yoga classes, walks and swimming in the river and retreat pool. Staff were really helpful with advise and I enjoyed a wonderful massage from Stephanie, a real treat. When staying at YAY sustainable you can travel to go to beaches and other locations, but I would suggest just staying put and immersing yourself in the retreat experience for a few days.
