Amazing view over the mountains and sea from our bed. Waking up to this view was truly special. We received a free upgrade from a jungle-view room to a mountain-view room. The room was very clean and modern, with high-quality materials. The staff—especially our host Enzo—were extremely helpful and always striving to ensure we had the best possible experience. The hotel offers many on-site activities, from ziplining to jungle night walks. We took the Nature Reserve tour, and our guide José was fantastic. During the tour, we spotted three sloths, monkeys, macaws, and toucans.

The bed provided an exceptional level of comfort, ensuring a restful sleep. Being a new hotel, everything was in pristine condition, which added to our overall satisfaction. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating, particularly the kind-hearted front desk lady who assisted us. The hotel's restaurant was a highlight of our stay, offering an amazing dining experience. We opted for their surf and turf special, which was simply spectacular. Our compliments go to the talented chef who prepared such delectable dishes. Furthermore, our server was outstanding, delighting us with his skillfully crafted margaritas. Breakfast, which was included, proved to be equally delicious, accompanied by excellent service. Discovering this hidden gem made us immensely happy, and we only wish we could extend our stay. It was an absolutely perfect experience overall.

She’s a great host, as is her family. Flexible when we arrived later than expected. Great recommendations. The whole place is peaceful, beautiful, with a garden in which you can meander. It was also nice that it was so close to the brewery for a drink or food. Ana recommended a good guide for a night tour where we saw a lot of wildlife. And we hiked around in the cloud forests. Could5 have found a better place.

We have stayed here twice now. Great location just off the main road. There is a nice pool surrounded by greenery and birds. The property has parking close to the little casitas. There’s a restaurant and small market on the property. The casita has everything you need. AC, hot shower and comfy beds. Management is always there to answer questions or make a dinner reservation for you.

Located 5 minutes' drive from Santa Elena town centre, and 4.9 miles from Monteverde, Costa Rica. Clean spacious rooms. Beautiful surroundings. Close to town. Excellent breakfast. Very effective and friendly service. Great value!

I loved the concept of the hotel, it was just exquisite. I am deeply thankful for Natalia, the lovely concierge, who was just exceptionally kind and made it so that all our questions and all the activities were well arranged. I also want to thank Stephen, who took care that our room was in pristine cleanliness every time, and I also remember the lovely staff at the restaurant (Paola, Vio, Hazel, Axel, Carla) who were just a joy every time they helped for breakfast, dinner or cocktail classes. The hotel's facilities were incredible, the garden is something else to behold, the concept they have from farm (Finca Madre Tierra) to table is something deeply educational that I recommend people try, and the nightfall Savia experience with Daniel si just magical. And on top of that, there's oodles of fun to be had at the brewery, so cheers to Hotel Belmar for making it all so special for me.
