Happy and attentive staff. Well illuminated rooms with light coming in 2 sides. The bathroom had double sinks and an opulent shower. Towels and bathrobes were thick and luxurious. The wine bar is closed on Sundays and local Bank holidays. Very charming family run hotel. Excellent and friendly service. Great breakfast. Very cosy and charming wine bar where they served delicious tapas. Susana, the owner, is very helpful and gives great tips on what to do, where to eat etc. Loved it!

Very spacious, and a wonderful place to explore Jutland, but also to relax.

Skagen Museum is 350 metres away. A limited number of free parking spaces are available on site. Lovely, clean hotel rooms. These were spacious and the beds were very comfy. Lots of choice at breakfast and this made the hotel good value. Very central location (a few mins from the station and lots of restaurants and shops). Staff were great and very accommodating. Nice to have tea and coffee available on the main corridor. Would definitely return.

Best Western Herman Bang's central location provides easy access to Frederikshavn's many shops and restaurants. Private parking spaces are found behind the hotel. The best breakfast I have had in a hotel. It rivaled expensive buffets in fancy hotels.

I am not sure if I should share my enthusiasm here - this is such a great place! Location: beautiful. The strandhytte: Great for a family, cozy and warm and with the right Danish "hygge" feeling. Staff: Friendly. AND - the swimming pool: We did not expect a huge waterslide or in fact an indoor pool of that size. So - although I wish that this stays my little holiday secret, I sincerely wish that this place will get the recognition it deserves.
