I was at the Hotel Vistalegre and SPA in Portomarin in 2021 on my first Camino and I was impressed even then by the location, the beauty of the decoration, the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel, but especially the overall offer such as SPA and massage, and an excellent, tasty and delicious breakfast, which would when we include the wonderful, friendly and professional staff, Silvia and Laura, who speak perfect English, that magnificent, small - big hotel should and could immediately have four stars, not two. This year too, Silva and Laura surpassed themselves in organizing my stay, sauna, massage and dinner reservation in the best restaurant. They are fulfilling all your wishes if it is possible. They even prepared a list of the best restaurants and tapas bars in Santiago for my departure. I have already been twice there and I will come again. I recommend Vistalegra Hotel to anyone who wants to feel the attention and care of the hosts who do everything to make you feel at home. Family run and about as charming as a place can get. Nice dinner and agreed to do our laundry. It is off the Camino by about a kilometer or so. But it's worth it. One of the patrons was a 10-time Camino participant who just loved the place. Worth the extra walk.

A Quinta Da Auga is a eco-hotel located just outside central Santiago de Compostela. The rooms include a free minibar, free Wi-Fi access and flat-screen satellite TV. It was close to the city of Santiago de Compostela, we walked it three times in the rain. The actual hotel is located in a really nice area with a river running by the property.
