El Akti Taygetos - Conference Resort está situado a los pies del monte Taigeto, en el corazón del golfo de Mesenia. It was super clean and everything was perfect. The pool area was superb the set up of the beach exceptional, the breakfast buffet has a great variety of foods to choose from and the staff was phenomenal!

Also, there is a bus station nearby, where a bus that takes you to the beach of the city stops. Right across the street from the station is a kiosk where you can buy tickets. The hotel staff is friendly. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a private parking lot.

Nestling at the foot of the Taygetos Mountains on the outskirts of Kalamata, Grecotel Filoxenia is surrounded by acres of luscious landscape and a beach by the azure Messinian Gulf. Beautiful hotel! Very kid-friendly as well. The rooms - recently renovated - were impeccable. The food was excellent (the breakfast that was included, and the food we paid for), and the facilities were great. We really appreciated the shallow pool for kids.
