Located a 19-minute walk from the iconic Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel offers an accommodation with a large outdoor pool in Borobudur. Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough. The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days! Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

Amata Borobudur Resort se nachází v destinaci Borobudur a poskytuje zahradu, bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. It was a very intimate resort, just a few bungalows and rooms, therefore it felt like it was just a sanctuary of our own. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, you will never feel underserved.

Villa Borobudur Resort se nachází pouhých 10 minut jízdy od chrámu Borobudur a nabízí tradiční indonéské ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Possibly the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. In the hills above Borobudur the villas are aesthetically exquisite, a work of art in and of themselves. There is a king size 4-poster bed with mosquito netting in the middle of the room and able it a richly carved wood ceiling. The wood carving outside was also of the highest quality. It was like staying in a museum piece in its best sense. The staff are superb. Ridan and the rest of the team attended our every wish and always with a gracious and genuine smile. The food was excellent and we asked for it to be served on the verandah of our villa. Indonesian food is very sophisticated in its flavoring. Our drivers both from the airport and to Yogyakarta afterwards were efficient and helpful. A highlight was going up to Sinar Hill at 5.30am in the morning to the sunrise over the active volcano Merapi. Don't miss it. The sun rose directly over the volcano's peak when we were there. Coffee was brought to us. Afterwards we swam in their elegant pool then spent the morning in Borobudur temple complex in a VIP tour organized by the hotel. Another "don't miss it" experience. If you're coming to Indonesia, try to see Borobudur and definitely stay at Villa Borobudur Resort.

This charming resort sits atop Tanjungan Village’s hills in Central Java, 1 km from Borobudur Temple. Staff wonderful. Professional, kind and discreet. Resort is 10mn from Borobudur temple that we can see from the Patio restaurant of the resort. An excellent restaurant worth a Michelin Star. Price above local restaurant but worth having at least a meal there. Excellent breakfast and afternoon tea. Room attended by quality staff. Always clean. Fruits, water and sweets left for us. Worth considering a stay if visiting the area.

Ms Angga and all the team was so cheerful and welcoming. This place is such a big 10/10. The quality for its price is best of what you could find. The private pool is sooo nice. The food and drinks were really great (we managed to avoid too spicy ones). Many options for breakfast. Here you can arrange anything you want for your stay. Rent motorbikes, have drive for the temples or yogyakarta city, massage in your rooms, anything is possible. Many thanks for everything. We will remember and recommend this place !

Nice location, room are clean and comfy, super cozy. A sweet escape from the busyness of a city but still not to far from it Breakfast was amazing, really love the Pecel Owner was very friendly and helpful, really nice to talk to him, really unfortunate we couldn’t stay longer, but definitely will comeback The area of the villa is together on a big complex of land, together with a restaurant, a stable/horse riding field, and a rafting place I still dont understand that their review score is only yjis much, because for me it will be 10/10 for real
