This place is wonderful. The location is ideal, 15 minutes away from the city center, it allows you to experience the beauty of the northern countryside, surrounded with jungle and rice terrasse. Everything is incredibly lush and green. The chalets are luxurious, cosy and well equipped. The bathroom is incredible, it was very pleasant to take a bath with the view of the garden after a day of exploring national parks, temples and lake ! Ketut and his staff are incredibly helpful and truly made me feel at home. They anticipated my needs, found solutions when needed, went the extra mile to accommodate and were very welcoming. You won’t regret staying here.

If you are even slightly interested in nature, you will love this place. It was full of plants that I had seen for the first time in my life. It was a wonderful experience for me and especially my father. The fruits they serve for breakfast are picked from the garden right in front of your eyes. The employees were very polite. We couldn't meet him, but the host Dewi was always in touch with us. The food was very delicious. We ate different things from Indonesian cuisine every day. We stayed in the middle of nature. We woke up in the morning with the sounds of birds. clean air. In the morning, they put flowers and incense everywhere as per Hindu tradition. The beautiful scent of this makes you feel good. We even planted pineapples when we left.

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Bali. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed – the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. We had such a wonderful and peaceful stay at The Dukuh Retreat . It is located in a beautiful, quiet village, remote but full of charm, and gives you a real feel of authentic village life in Bali. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and surrounded by nature. The property has a lovely pool, a spotless yoga shala, and a nice stretch of land where you can take peaceful walks. The free breakfast is delicious, with very good options to start your day. The staff are kind and attentive, and the owners are truly some of the sweetest people we have met. We stayed here for four to five days, and everything went smoothly. One day, there was an unexpected power cut across the area due to government work, and the owner went out of her way to help us. She offered us another place to work from with internet access and even offered to pay for our lunch and snacks that day. We did not accept, but her kindness and concern really touched us. If you are looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat away from the crowds, with warm hospitality and a personal touch, The Dukuh Retreat is absolutely perfect. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Everything was perfect! The perfect location, away from canggu’ s confusion, the contact with nature, the surroundings with rice fields and small coffee shops with a lot of style, the slow living, the staff, the breakfast. It was amazing experience! The beach is really beautiful and a 40 min by scooter also has two of the best beaches in Bali, not crowded, unexplored. In 20min by scooter you have the best places to dinner, the hotel recommendations were amazing! Thank you Nirjhara

This is like Utopia, the perfect world. I appreciated especially the guest book with detailed information and the surprise dinner every night witch was exceptional, the helpful and friendly staff, the garden tour, hikes, workshops and closeness to nature. Also a highlight was yoga every morning with the sunrise. I never wanted to leave this place.
