This is the best resort I have stayed at until biw. so peaceful and you can hear birds all the time. The room was absolutely stunning, clean, bright and airy, and the balcony made my day. The food is of good quality and the staff is fantastic. Their onsite Spa is also really good but the rates at the spa are a bit much in my opinion. One must try their chickoo coffee it is delish ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. This is the most beautiful resort I've ever experienced in my lifetime! The Staff were amazing! The food was incredible! The view was unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. I will be back!!! This is a gem that I feel so very lucky to have visited. The rooms were so nice and roomy. 10000000% rating and I can't wait to come back!

The breakfast had good range and the open air seats were so good. The ambience and greenery around the property was super. Rooms were spacious and clean.
