Located 2 km from Lake Trasimeno, I Capricci Di Merion is an Art Nouveau building in the Umbrian countryside. Beautiful location, wonderful house. The pool is very nice and the salt water is a pleasant change from the chlorine ones. It has also got a nice spa although we didn’t use it. The rooms have a rustic, elegant feel which really fits in the area. Not too far to pretty towns like Cortona. The food at the property is delightful with excellent wine pairings. Complete rejuvenation.

Very nice location and property, you can see attention to details, restaurant serves amazing local food. Possibility to charge electric car. Breakfast was amazing even though we were almost the only guests. Unfortunately we could not experience the swimming pool, as it was closed.

Relais Villa Monte Solare Wellness & SPA is a luxurious 4-star property with beautiful gardens and a panoramic spa with views of the hills. Restaurant Dolium serves specialities of Tuscany and Umbria.... I think I’ll rave about this stay forever. It’s the nicest hotel I have ever experienced. We were upgraded on check-in and received the most incredible room. It truly felt like a dream from start to finish. The staff were consistently warm and gracious, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast is phenomenal, with complimentary prosecco available if you wish. We had dinner here on two nights, and both meals were absolutely five-star. The spa is beautiful, and we loved spending time in the thermal suites. There are two swimming pools with breathtaking scenic views, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Everything felt cinematic, as if I had stepped into a movie. My only regret is not booking the entire holiday here. I cannot wait to return.

This is by far the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and beautiful. The best thing about it however was the host, who was absolutely lovely and treated our children like her own. This is a great property for families because there is so much for kids to do.

The location and the view of Lake Trasimeno was sensational. We loved the modern facilities of the cottage. We enjoyed the history walk around the nearby countryside. This accomodation is perfect if you have a car.

Just enough out of the way to be in restful nature but still fairly close to sites and attractions in the area. Very friendly staff. Great massage was available. Breakfast had tasty home cooked breads and pastries and good coffees.

It was one of our best vacations in recent years. Country House Podere Lacaioli is a peaceful house with a restaurant in central Italy and is a great base for trips to Siena, Assisi, Florence, or Rome. It is run by a very helpful and friendly elderly couple, it is quiet and peaceful, 5 minutes from shops, bars, restaurants, and the old town. A great place, wonderful people, you can cook or barbecue yourself, or use the restaurant in the resort or one of the many nearby. It was a great stay with excellent food, wine, and trips to nearby towns and attractions, after which we could relax in this wonderful place. It's not modern, and the internet doesn't always work everywhere, but that's really not the most important thing during a vacation where you want to get away from work, everyday life, and relax, sunbathe, or swim in the pool. We were truly delighted.
