Composed of 2 buildings, The Okura Tokyo boasts a garden and bar. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. Everything was perfect. Room layout was great. Wonderful view. The pool was also fantastic. Breakfast was also very good, I would say among some of the best I've had.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. So so so beautiful and the staff was amazing only stayed for a night before heading off to my next location but would definitely stay another night to explore Hakone. Tried new foods I normally wouldn’t eat as well which was a great experience as well 🙂‍↕️

Situated in a central location with 3 stations within a 5-minute walk, Imperial Hotel Tokyo is a prestigious hotel renowned for providing first-class hospitality for over a century since 1890. Excellent experiences in the hotel. The service is really top ranking and I cannot expect more.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. Everything! The location was great, the staff were magnificent, and the hotel was Wow!

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The hotel itself is absolutely exceptional, and probably the most impressive luxury hotel I've ever stayed. If you enjoy the history exploration and the Japanese-western style, Fujiya definitely will be a great fit. The hotel finished its renovation 2 years ago and everything is in good condition. You can experience its glory and rich history since the majority of areas are free to explore for staying guests. (Do not miss its museum, library and garden. The swimming pool is a bit small, and personally I quite enjoyed its style.) In fact, my friends and I spent so much time exploring the hotel itself, the time spent in Fujiya hotel eventually became the highlight of our Hakone trip.

I believed I was assigned with the biggest and largest house (they have different houses). Very nice decor and nice garden. Enjoyed a relax and quiet night. Traditional japanese style breakfast, taste good.

I highly recommend booking the Garden View rooms here. We spent over an hour spotting all the famous landmarks in Tokyo, and with the help of our camera's zoom lens, we managed to see them clearly. Tokyo Skytree, Tokyo Dome, Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower, the entire Shibuya and Shinjuku areas, and more – you can even see the Landmark Tower in Yokohama from the room! Everything else, from cleanliness to service and breakfast, was top-notch. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.
