They helped us book a safari which was amazing. Great experience!! Recommend 100%

Wi-Fi je zde dostupné zdarma.... Cute little houses in a well kept little resort. The room was simple but spotlessly clean. We immediately felt comfortable. If it’s a snack, tea or a breakfast package to take along on the safari, the hosts do their absolute best. Dinner was delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch of the house and listen to the evening wildlife. Personally, I think the location is even better than shown on the pictures and an absolute recommendation!

Absolutely spotless property with the most amazing staff and food! The Sri Lankan curry and Sri Lankan breakfast were incredible and the portion sizes were huge. The added extras were a bonus such as the complimentary 10 minute massage, the welcome drink, afternoon tea and mocktail with dinner. The location was perfect for safari. The staff were so accommodating and friendly!! The attention to detail at this hotel was fabulous, we could not understand how they manage to keep everything so clean and pristine but they do. We both agreed that this is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had!!

This was truly one of the best accomodations I‘ve ever stayed in! The garden view room was absolutely gorgeous and so clean you could eat off the floor. Comfortable big beds you want to snuggle into, coffee making facilities right in your room (Kettle, cups, sugar), and truly the highlight of it all, an outdoor bathroom! I was very reluctant to leave after my stay here, I really felt like my emotional wellbeing has been fully restored after a few bad hotel experiences prior. For this price, you absolutely cannot beat it. The food was lovely and the host very kind and accommodating. So if you‘re planning to stay in Udawalawe, this is the place!

City Elephant is ideally situated for getting to the park, right on the main drag through town. The owners are super friendly. My room was large with a good bed and good AC. The restaurant out by the street looks unassuming, but DO eat there...these guys cook beautifully. I had a rice/curry lunch that was just lovely.
