This is a very plush hotel set right beside the castle. The hotel is very modern but has been done sympathetic to its surroundings. Everything is spotless and the staff are excellent. The beds were supremely comfortable.

Hotel Casino Chaves features an in-house casino with table games and 300 slot machines, a restaurant with views of the mountains and 3 bars. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from Chaves’s town centre. Clean, comfortable, professional and friendly staff

Torel Quinta da Vacaria - Douro Valley se nachází v destinaci Peso da Régua a nabízí ubytování s venkovním bazénem, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, zahradou a terasou. The hotel was amazing, with beautiful view of the river and vineyards. We really enjoyed the hotel's spa area. The staff were professional, attentive and friendly. However, what impressed us most was design of the hotel. Amazing.

Quinta de Travassinhos is a magical place in the Douro Valley with beautiful views, outstanding ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Helena & Ricardo have painstakingly restored and renovated the property into something rare and special where modern amenities and comfort meet the beauty of a working farm and vineyard. Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!

This is an amazing property , our apartment was excellent, clean , beautiful! All the staff super nice, restaurant with excellent local ingredients and of course the farm ❤️!!! We didn’t want to leave…I actually booked the apartment by a mistake , but for sure it was the best mistake I made on our month long stay in Portugal and Spain !

The room was very nice, the meals were among the best we’ve had in Portugal and the host was incredible.
