A wonderful hotel—comfortable and beautiful. The pool area was especially enjoyable. The hotel’s garden and grounds were very well-maintained. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent, and the staff was especially helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. It far exceeded our expectations, it’s very well run , nicely luxurious, excellent staff and we had some good game drives and were fortunate to see a Cheetah, there are only 3 on the property ( bigger than Singapore) no lion sightings which was a disappointment but nature doesn’t always perform to order. Some excellent interactions with a the elephants. The food was good and from the decking we saw Kudo, Gazelles, Baboons, a Lion was spotted and a Brown Hyena.

Mooiplaas Guesthouse is a luxury guest house situated on a working ostrich farm, within 11 km of Oudtshoorn. It was beautiful, clean, and the staff were simply wonderful.

Karoo Retreat- Self Catering Villas and Guest House offers self-catering accommodation located in Oudtshoorn, within the Klein Karoo. It offers a plunge pool. Beautiful, clean and modern apartments. Well equipped with all amenities. Secure parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would have loved to stay longer.

Stayed in Mae West, perfectly situated to lie on the deck next to splash pool and look out onto the mountains. Had clear skies in the evening which made stargazing absolutely spectacular. Unit has small fridge and pod coffee machine which was not listed on Booking.com, had I known this I would have brought along some coffee pods.

Zeekoe se nachází u nejdelší vinařské stezky R62 na světě a je obklopen pohořími Swartberg a Outeniqua. It is my 3rd time there. Quite place, complimentary liqueur, huge bathroom, fireplace, hitting sheet and many another small things. Good restaurant for dinner with big choice local beer, wine, gin. Ostrich steak and springbok carpacho was delicious. Meerkats visiting really need to book in advance
