The best with our stay was the very helpful hostess, who booked tables for us at restaurants (the extremely good vegetarian restaurant – totally amazing!) and went out of her way to make sure we got a Didi in time when we were leaving.

The place was spotless, spacious rooms, with a river view. Location is excellent, in the most authentic part of Wuzhen, makes you feel local rather than a tourist. Our host provided us with some local snacks, helped us to get the luggage in and out, and also helped book a car with a driver. She is an amazing host - highly recommend!

I arrived in the evening after having visited the water town nearby. The lady at the reception was very kind: although she did not speak to much English, she had a device to translate. She did offer a welcoming wanton dish, truly tasty and well balanced. The bathtub was very enjoyable. This accommodation was within walking distance from the East Lake, and from the famous Dragon Tea plantations. The lady at the reception was very kind ad helpful with ideas, information and explanations about the place. I am very grateful to her
