Some other travellers mentioned it was far from the center but it wasn’t an issue for me, I walked every day and it was about 35 minutes along the beach. Would highly recommend if you want to stay in a beautiful hotel in the middle of nature and have a great night’s sleep while being close to Puerto Viejo.

Location was ideal, right on a beautiful beach. The attention to details was so obvious. One of the few hotels of this type where your included breakfast was delivered to your room during your stay. The grounds of the hotel are stunning beautiful, complete with visits from local families of monkeys, sloths and toucan. The staff was really friendly and attentive to our every need. All of the above made for a wonderful stay and visit to the area.

The most special stay on our entire Costa Rica trip. The houses are built inside the stretch of a beautiful selva, with direct access to the pristine, unspoiled beach. We were surrounded by sounds and sightings of wildlife on our walks to and from the beach, and when enjoying our time at the house. The love, attention and effort that goes into the maintenance of this amazing place is truly incredible. Everything works perfectly, from showers to kitchen utilities and all other comforts. Marisol took great care of us and helped us to spot sloths, toucans and howler monkeys. One of our closest wildlife encounters on the trip also took place at Congo Bongo. Following Marisol’s recommendation, we had two dinners at the local restaurant Mista Cook, it was delicious. Muchas gracias, we will be back!

V okolí krásné pláže, nutnost auta pro návštěvu Puerto Viejo, Manzanillo, Cahuita park. Opravdu báječné snídaně, nejlepší co jsme na Kostarice měli.

Tyto bungalovy v Puerto Viejo El Nido Jungle Lodge se nacházejí 200 metrů od pláže Playa Chiquita a nabízejí venkovní bazén a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Lovely accommodation with very comfortable bed, quiet jungle surroundings, nice kitchen, set up, and good air conditioning. It was nice having a covered outside porch. Included breakfast was great. The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Are they highly recommend this place.

Room was large, clean with a coffee machine. Breakfast was awesome. Fresh fruits, eggs made to order and fresh pastries. Close to everything in the town. Walked most places we needed to go, in town. The owners are amazing people. They couldn't do enough for us.
