Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Since I discovered this hotel nearly 20 years ago, I have stayed here on numerous occasions, and I simply love it more each time! It has everything I wish for in a hotel: perfect location, clean and comfortable rooms, good food, lovely grounds, and, not least, the most wonderful staff! They really go out of their way to help you with any problem you might have, they are invariably friendly and warm and make you feel so appreciated and welcome. On this last occasion, when I unexpectedly found myself in a situation where I really needed help, I had three "special angels": guest relation Reham, and managers Mohammed Youssuf and Elagia. A huge "Thank you" to all of you!

The staff was super friendly and were ready to sprint to fulfill our demands. Overall, this turned out to be the best place during our 2-week stay in Egypt. The restaurant dished out some of the very best Nubian recipes.

The room is clean and cozy, the hotel generally was super quiet. I really recommend it to everyone. And also it's not expensive at all. This is one of the hidden gems of Aswan. To be honest the pictures don't do justice to the hotel. We got a river view room and it had one of the most picturesque views of the Nile and Aswan. The staff was very helpful, and right from checking in to checking out we had such a pleasant experience. The reception can also help with local tours and taxis. The location of the hotel is also ideal and you have access to most facilities nearby (railway station, busses or boats). They even packed us breakfast when we planned leaving early for other destinations in and around Aswan. This was one of the best experiences we had in Egypt.
