This was an amazing place, I stayed 3 nights, and I wish I could have stayed longer. The common area is so beautiful, warm, and cozy. They even play super nice relaxing music in the evening to make it even more pleasant. The dorm was also really nice and clean. The location is amazing, close to the lake, and with a lot of nice things to do like hiking, biking, or going to a nearby onset. But the best part was the hostels owner. He picked me up from the station and took me back there without any additional cost. He also gave me a lot of nice suggestions about places to visit and things to do, such a nice person. I hope I can come back to visit this place soon! Thanks for a lovely time.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Wonderful stay and kind staff 🤍🤍 I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared. But what truly made my experience special was the kindness of the staff, especially Minori, who was very helpful even after my stay. She kindly sent me my forgotten item from Japan with great care and attention. I really appreciate their professionalism and warm hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again when I visit Japan next time.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. I like everything, the ryokan style room, dinner, breakfast or the Netflix in room. The most impressive is the excellent services from all staff, the unlimited services, kind supports and willingness. The first time I stayed here was last 2 years with my friend. This time, I had my hubby with me as I want him to experience the great same thing and he enjoyed it as much as I did. Thank you for the hotel. Much appreciated!

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Both breakfast and dinner was good. Local Sake was delicious. Staff could speak fluent English and Chinese. Service was excellent, they even help do the laundry and clean my hiking boots after I got down from Mt. Fuji.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Most perfect location you could imagine!!! It is such a beautiful area full of japanese style buildings and the "vibes" are truly amazing! Also lots of great street foods, temple nearby and still close enough to the Station. Staff was super kind and we got a little sweet treat every day which was very tasty. The onsen was great too and our room was also perfect! It was clean, enough room and felt very authentic to us. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable rooms, the owner cooks amazing food and took excellent care of us. He even showed us around town as we didn’t have a car, told us a bit about the towns history and was kind enough to take us to the train station when we left. 10/10 will be coming back if I get the chance!

We had a good weekend at Kawaguchiko Park Hotel. Friendly staff. Good facilities. We enjoyed the hot springs and massage chairs. The twin room was spacious for the 2 of us. We even had a view of Mt Fuji from our windows, including in the shower! We booked breakfast at the hotel, and that was one of the highlights of the stay. A feast of multiple dishes set out at our table. They made sure we had different dishes each day. The location is close to the lake and within walking distance to the Ropeway and the station.

The host took great care to ensure that the room was clean and comfortable for us during our stay. Though it was very cold ( 4 degrees) and raining outside, we felt quickly warmed up his hospitality as well as the fireplace placed at the entrance of the building. There was also an air conditioning unit to heat up the air plus floor heating inside our room. The facilities inside helped to keep my teenagers happily occupied the entire evening as we chose to stay indoor due to the rain. Highly recommend this place if you are driving.

The place is very spacious, could accommodate more than 6 people. Located in a small road with parking space for our minivan. Highly recommended!!
