Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Most perfect location you could imagine!!! It is such a beautiful area full of japanese style buildings and the "vibes" are truly amazing! Also lots of great street foods, temple nearby and still close enough to the Station. Staff was super kind and we got a little sweet treat every day which was very tasty. The onsen was great too and our room was also perfect! It was clean, enough room and felt very authentic to us. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and comfortable rooms, the owner cooks amazing food and took excellent care of us. He even showed us around town as we didn’t have a car, told us a bit about the towns history and was kind enough to take us to the train station when we left. 10/10 will be coming back if I get the chance!

This was our absolute favorite accommodation we have ever stayed at (and we have traveled all over the world as a family!) The concept is just so incredibly cool. The cafe is yours to use as you wish. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and it can accommodate my whole family of 5 comfortably. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. There is a beautiful and extremely well-stocked grocery store right across the street! I cannot recommend this place more highly than 10+++ stars. Please do yourself a favor and book this hotel. If we ever return to Matsumoto we will surely return. Thank you Cafe & Stay for the wonderful memories!

Hands down the best hospitality we have ever experienced. Maki is the most gracious of any host we have ever had. Excellent food (lots of it). This accommodation is worth planning an entire trip around. 2 private onsens. A massage chair. It was our first time with a traditional Japanese futon and we were surprised how comfortable sleeping was. Beautiful scenery and the most hospitable hosts (Maki, her mom the chef and Kenta the house pup) Thank you for an unforgettable stay! We can’t wait to come back again someday.

It’s quite close to the bus station, convenience store and restaurants. Closest to Happo-One resort. They have a shuttle to pick you up from the station and even send you to your resort destination. If you book a rental gear from Central Sports, they will come pick up the gear from the guest house for return. The property staff are such friendly and accommodating people, you’ll feel right at home!

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 9,1 km odtud je Otsumago. Truly one of the highlights of our time in Japan. The building, rooms, and onsen are incredible and the hospitality can't be beat. We were caught in a rainstorm before our scheduled pickup and the owners so kindly dried our sopping wet clothes and shoes. After that, we warmed up in the onsen which left our skin feeling so smooth and headed to a delicious and expansive dinner. We finished the night falling asleep to the roaring sound of the waterfall due to the heavy rains. We'll definitely be back.

Ryokan Warabino se nachází v destinaci Takayama. Zoo Suzaka je 12 km daleko a Chrám Zenkodži 24 km. Tento ryokan se 3 hvězdičkami nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a zahradu. The entire experience was wonderful, totally unique, like nothing we've ever done before. The food was amazing, I am vegetarian and they made an extra special effort to make sure that I had just as good food as my meat and fish eating husband. The onsens were great, very relaxing.

Hotel Yamabuki se nachází v destinaci Komagane a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a tenisovým kurtem. Takato Joshi Park je 26 km daleko. This is a traditional ryokan and therefore it’s important to assess it on its own terms. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it is a lovely place to stay. The staff were wonderful, our room was huge and comfortable, the onsen was beautiful and the food was outstanding. I loved the traditional yukata and samue they provided, and the beauty products in the onsen were great. The location is very good- an agricultural town with fields surrounded by mountains- but it is next to a road so it’s not the most scenic. That said, it is very close to an amazing shrine that is one of the most beautiful holy places I have ever experienced.

Tomareru Himitsukichi L-Base se nachází v destinaci Macumoto a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací, kola zdarma a zahradu. The place was in a quiet residential area. We loved how the property was built up. It was modern and cosy. We only spent a night there and my kids couldn’t bear to leave.
