Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. The location was amazing and the staff treated us as family. It was wonderful, clean and cozy.

Simply the best accomodation I have experienced anywhere! Our stay with Maki, her Mother and Kenta dog was relaxing and magical after a week in Tokyo and Maki does absolutley everything to make you feel welcome and at home with her gentle, warm hospitality, The Ryokan itself is an elegant traditional building and is beautifully kept. The amazing Kaiseki dinner and breakfasts that Makis mother presents every night are a wonderful way to experience traditional japanese food after a relaxing onsen bath. Maki was simply the best host, she even drove us up to the start of our walk trail and booked our lunchtime soba restaurant. The local area is breathtaking even in late autumn / early winter and a walk around the shrines is enough to fill a very pleasant day, Wel ove you Maki and we will be back!

The property is really clean and very comfortable. It’s so close to restaurants, convenient store and the Hakuba bus station. The most I like is the owner of the property treated us like the family or I think more than family. They picked up and dropped us from and to the bis station, showed the restaurant, and dropped and pickup us to ski resort. The owner, Chikako san helped us to find Ski school for our children who experienced snow for the first time. The other co owner, Koji san even helped us to talk to Ski school that didn’t speak good English. We will definitely come back again.

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 9,1 km odtud je Otsumago. The drive up to the location was gorgeous, the host picked me up from Tsumago and after my stay dropped me off to the Nagiso train station. While the host speaks limited english, he is a wonderful conversationalist and a joy to talk to. The accommodation itself is very spacious, the interior design beautiful, and the onsen baths were at really comfortable temperature for me. While I was unable to eat all of the food they served (I have a small stomach, not their fault), I really wish i could have, because I think it was one of the best meals I've ever had. I will definitely come back some day.

TAOYA Kisoji se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a terasu. Otsumago je 3,7 km daleko. The outdoor onsen is exceptional & fabulous. Loved the vibe of wandering around the hotel and eating meals in our yukata. Food was great and selection was impressive. Total relaxing stay! I failed to pre-book the shuttle as our plans changed last minute but the driver allowed us to hop on at the train station which was a lifesaver! Shuttle is necessary as there's limited transportation and a cab ride is very expensive.

Kisoji no Yado Iwaya se nachází v destinaci Kiso v regionu Nagano. Jen 41 km odtud je Takato Joshi Park. On site onsen facility and restaurant served authentic Japanese cuisine.

Ryokan Warabino se nachází v destinaci Takayama. Zoo Suzaka je 12 km daleko a Chrám Zenkodži 24 km. Tento ryokan se 3 hvězdičkami nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a zahradu. This was an incredible and unforgettable experience. We stayed in the Japanese style room with a beautiful view of the garden and mountains. We went several times to the private onsens without ever having to wait. We really felt that we were living an experience. The people working in the facilities are also incredible. We didn’t have time enough to book the dinner so they took us for free to the only restaurant available around, which was amazing.

Hotel Yamabuki se nachází v destinaci Komagane a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a tenisovým kurtem. Takato Joshi Park je 26 km daleko. Hot Spring was great with clean hot bath, and the staff welcomed us kindly even we arrived close to 9 pm.
