Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!

We stayed here while visiting the Japanese Alps. Atsu was really friendly and helped us out a lot. We had to check in a bit later due to delays and also had a last minute diner during our stay. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. Really good curry, and was able to accommodate my wife with a gluten free meal for her (celiac). And we also got some really good advice for food for our next stay :). Thanks Atsu!

We loved feeling like we were staying at a proper coffee shop. Everything was clean and made our stay super comfortable as a family of 5 :)

This ryokan and the hospitality is something special! It was beyond amazing, and the best experience we had during our 21-day trip in Japan. We felt right at home from the beginning, even though Maki told us she was worried we would not be comfortable seeing its a traditional Japanese house. On the contrary; everything is well thought of and very stylish. You get to experience a real Japanese inn in a relaxed manner. We didn’t have any experience with traditional ryokans, and Maki kindly thought us the ways of putting on a yukata, enjoying a kaiseki meal and using an onsen. She and her mom are beyond kind and caring, and provide you with everything you need (i.e. they send us on our hike with drinks and a bear-bell). The food is truly amazing (and there is a lot!!!) and Maki takes time to explain the origin of the products/dishes and a lot of the food is seasonal and resourced locally. The room was beautiful, with a spectacular view and nice comfy places to sit. The futon beds were very comfortable and on top of that everything was very tidy and clean. We are so thankful we got this opportunity and feel blessed we met them and cute Fukumaki and Kenta and will keep the memories we made here forever in our hearts. WE WILL BE BACK!

Takimi Onsen Inn that only accepts one group per day se nachází v destinaci Nagiso a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 9,1 km odtud je Otsumago. Onsen with snow falling in was just incredible. The food, the warm hospitality, and the white snow just completed the satisfaction of the stay. Everything is there.

Kisoji no Yado Iwaya se nachází v destinaci Kiso v regionu Nagano. Jen 41 km odtud je Takato Joshi Park. We loved everything about this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the Onsen was wonderful. The location was good and the staff welcoming. A delicious breakfast was served

Ryokan Warabino se nachází v destinaci Takayama. Zoo Suzaka je 12 km daleko a Chrám Zenkodži 24 km. Tento ryokan se 3 hvězdičkami nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a zahradu. This was an incredible and unforgettable experience. We stayed in the Japanese style room with a beautiful view of the garden and mountains. We went several times to the private onsens without ever having to wait. We really felt that we were living an experience. The people working in the facilities are also incredible. We didn’t have time enough to book the dinner so they took us for free to the only restaurant available around, which was amazing.

Hotel Yamabuki se nachází v destinaci Komagane a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a tenisovým kurtem. Takato Joshi Park je 26 km daleko. Hot Spring was great with clean hot bath, and the staff welcomed us kindly even we arrived close to 9 pm.

Tomareru Himitsukichi L-Base se nachází v destinaci Macumoto a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a klimatizací, kola zdarma a zahradu. Everything fine. Friendly host, clean, cozy. Nothing to complain about :)
