Despite my late check-in at 11:50 PM, the Ambasewana team greeted me with warmth and hospitality. They even provided a refreshing welcome drink, a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The resort's facilities are top-notch, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. My room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The serene surroundings and beautifully landscaped gardens add to the overall tranquility of the stay. Every staff member was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The food was delicious, with various options to suit all tastes. The resort's location is also ideal for exploring the nearby attractions, making it a perfect base for anyone visiting the area. Overall, I am extremely happy with my stay at Habarana Ambasewana Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The owner Sanjeeva and his team went above and beyond to make out stay enjoyable and were very helpful in helping us arranging transportation and activities when required. Rooms are very clean and beds confortable. The lounge and pool area are beautiful and quiet. Food is really nice. All in all, a little paradise to come back to after a hot day discovering the area!

I like the many large glass windows that offer view of the trees, branches and leaves. It gives a feeling of living in the tree and a sense of peace with the birds tweeting and the occasional chipmunk scampering by. The chef is a good cook and whipped up excellent dishes nicely presented and served by the waiters. Sandun cleans the room well. The bed is comfortable. The whole premises is well-kept. As ususal, the host, Mr. Ajith, was welcoming. The manager Samee was always concerned and asking about the welfare of the guests.

Absolutely liked everything about the Residence by Amaya. Relaxed ambience, convenient location closer to Anuradhapura town and other main attractions of the city. Ideal for families and couples or small groups. I highly recommend The Residence by Amaya because of its clean and comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

The host was really nice, even came to pick us up at the bus station and droped us off there when we were leaving. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. And the breakfast 😍 big portion and very delicious

Just the most wonderful setting for a relaxing time. What were the highlights? The food? Fresh made, local produce, superb. The staff? Attentive, friendly, welcoming. The surroundings? Appropriate, beautiful, unusual. The wildlife? Endlessly fascinating. And then Maulie, the proprietor…warm, informative and great fun. If you have a chance to stay here, take it!

Měli jsme zde třikrát jídlo a všechno bylo perfektní až jsme byli překvapeni. Také jsme si půjčili kola, která byla optimální na cestu k chrámům za dobrou cenu 1500 rupií za jedno. Zcela doporučuji tento hotel ve všech ohledech.

Very warm welcome from the staff and beautiful grounds and buildings. The room was spacious and clean as was the ensuite. The food was beautiful, we had curry and rice for dinner and a quaint English breakfast of toast, marmalade and eggs. The soft juices served on arrival and at breakfast would be enough to make me want to return.
