What a lovely experience staying in a renovated historic stone house in the Veneto region. Our hostess Lucia went above and beyond and was always there in person to answer any queries we might have had. The home exuded rustic charm and although it had a small footprint, it had three floors, with 2 bedrooms decorated in Italian country cottage style. On arrival we went directly to the spacious backyard overlooking the vineyards where we enjoyed the sunset while imbibing a bottle of prosecco gifted by Lucia. The kitchen was tiny but well-equipped with a small gas stove and an array of pans and dishes. We had breakfast there every day. There was also a coffee maker with pods, moka pot, jams and crackers. Parking just in front of the door. We loved Combai - really small village, but it had a cafe and restaurant close by which we availed of on our first day there.

It was immaculately clean and had a pleasant light scent. owner is extremely kind. kitchen offers light breads, coffee and large selection of teas. one of the best stays in my lifetime.

Lots of space and interesting things in the house. The hosts were great, arranged to meet up early as we had arrived earlier than expected. Picked fruit from the garden and made a coffee (demonstrating the correct use of the machine) for us. The prospect of wolves nearby and the guard dogs next door added to the experience. Lots of things to do close by, and a day trip, using the train, to Venice was a very good day out.

Located at the end of a field road, surrounded by what is part of the "Prosecco Hills". The house must have been renovated very recently, all appliances high quality and modern, perfectly mixed into some old house structure details. After making a reservation I was contacted by a very kind representative (thanks Charlie!) of the house owner, who met with us to show us the house and hand over the keys. Kitchen is fully equipped for all sorts of cooking and the house has a BBQ place outside and a fireplace inside. Heating and air conditioning work perfectly. Furniture of very high quality. About 1 km from small town center with a restaurant and market. Perfect location for cycling vacation, both road or gravel.

It was an amazing apartment! everything was clean, very comfortable and so cozy, perfect for our family trip! Private parking ground was very handy and location wise we didn’t have any trouble for our hikings and daytrip to Venezia. Overall an amazing stay with a amazing host. When we asked for a place to do our laundry, the next day they ahd arranged a new washing machine for us in the appartement. Service was amazing, thank you for a great stay!

This is an amazing place hidden between vineyards. Green, quiet, perfect for rest. Well equipped with air conditioning beautifully renovated old stone vine-house with two separate bedrooms. We were welcomed by the owners, great people that grow grapevines and produce fantastic Prosecco! And they run a weekend restaurant with delicious home food. The area is on UNESCO Prosecco Colline list. In the nearby there is a river with clear water. Mountains as from children’s drawings. Off-roading for a really short distance to get there might be a bit of a challenge but this is mountains and 4x4 drive will be a good option.

Giovanni met us when we arrived, he offered dining and shopping recommendations. The house was super clean and each of the 3 bedrooms had its own AC control. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer. The property has an authentic feel of a tiny castle, with natural stone, stucco, and historic exposed beams, its authentic Italy in the heart of a tiny village . Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
