‘Calm guest’- this name suits this property very much. As we walked in we were like ‘wow’! Such a beautiful villa, extremely comfortable with all facilities, including a washing machine, iron, hairdryer and microwave. The host was so kind and friendly recommending us fun things to do such as dolphin watching, nice beaches and lovely places to eat as well as constantly checking in on us to make sure we were all okay.

We stayed five nights in the house. It was the most amazing part of our 18 day holiday in Sri Lanka. The house worked perfectly. It was beautiful, clean and cozy. The host family made the stay special, with their unusually friendly and welcoming way of being. We had many fun and interesting conversations. They gave us several good ideas for cooking. We would definitely recommend this wonderful place and its people.

The house was beautifully decorated, very clean and very stylish. It was great to have access to the living spaces and not only the bedroom. We were also very happy to be able to use the washing machine. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Although we didn’t have much time to enjoy the daylight, the gardens at the hacienda are beautiful.

Surya Lagoon Village is a recently renovated villa in Nilaveli, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden.
