We liked the location and the rustic beach cottage. There was a great tip sheet for exploring the local fare and activities. We liked the private quiet setting. We felt very welcome with flowers and welcome sign.

Everything, the house is beautiful in a perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay. Also the little cable car was great. Definitely recommend this property. The owner was lovely to communicate with and also had a bottle of wine for us when we arrived.

Can't say enough about this place. We are a group of 5 who routinely rent out homes for our occasional gatherings around the world and Tree Tops Oasis ranks the highest for us. There was plenty of space in the kitchen for many of us to move around at the same time, which is important since we like to cook. No shortage of appliances and kitchenware. This house is well-designed to accomodate groups with plenty of lounging options both inside and outside. The beds were comfortable, all 3 bathrooms were spacious and again, well designed. There was clearly a great deal of thought that went into the build and layout of this house, as well as to the furniture and decor. I can't recommend it highly enough!

This is an absolutely amazing and unique location! The views are spectacular! It's also very peaceful as there are few other people around. The house is comfortable and has everything you need, and the people are friendly and helpful. A beautiful place for walking, swimming and relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Elliot Bay!!

Kingfisher Retreat is a beautifully presented property a short drive from the Opua Ferry. Located just 500m from Russell Wharf and the township, it was an easy walk to the beach and to catch a ferry across to Paihia & Waitangi. The hosts are exceptional and have thought of everything - linen, towels, comfortable beds, a fridge full of condiments, freezer loaded with ice, laundry supplies - you name it, it's there! The views from the balcony are stunning and provide a gorgeous end of the day opportunity to take in a beautiful sunset. Loved our stay!
