We were a trio of friends visiting the Douro region for the first time and this was a fantastic experience. Driving into the Quinta and opening the doors to the house was a dream come true for the beauty and peace and quiet of the vast vineyards. Breakfast was delivered daily to the house and we enjoyed lazing by the pool and walking around the estate. Fernanda hosted us for the winery walk and tasting and we ended up with several bottles of wine to take home. Thank you for the warmth and hospitality we felt at the Quinta. We hope to return soon.

The property was immaculately presented and maintained. On a working orchard where fruit was readily available to pick and consume also sit and relax amongst, the entire stay is rated one of the very best we have ever experienced. The original Portuguese village made it feel like we were transported back in time, beautifully renovated with luxury products, finishes and furniture left us not wanting for anything more. The hotel was full however never once felt crowded - amazing selection at breakfast with a wonderful view over the property and valley below. Our family of four adults were very comfortable spending time together, with plenty of individual activities and areas to explore roaming always in awe of the natural beauty of the village and grounds. There wasn’t anything the staff wouldn’t do to assist in maximising our experience. Cooking facilities in the villas along with community kitchen and cooking for outdoor alfresco options were immaculately keeled and readily available for use. The pool zone was tranquil with flowing mountain spring water keeping it cool for the summer days. (High temperatures in the region of 39-40 degree heat plenty of shade to protect from the sun) Conveniently location near the Douro River and vineyards. The kind gift of arrival of in-house Blueberry Jam and teas was amazing also the signature bottle of white wine was a lovely and welcomed treat which was chilled and enjoyed after a long day of exploring the region on the warm summer night in our private courtyard. We could not fault our four night stay and can not wait to return on our next trip to visit family in the region.

Second trip to Castas do Douro, this time with friends. We rented both apartments and were (again) very happy with everything. Comfortable, beautifully renovated and with good A/C (considering the very high temperature outside).

Quinta da Laceira - Douro Valley - Alojamento Local se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě v destinaci Vila Real a nabízí venkovní gril a pokojovou službu. Staying at the vineyard was an exquisite experience. The location offered stunning views, and the pool added to the charm. The hosts were incredibly friendly, hospitable, making us feel right at home. Not to mention, the wine and olive oil were exceptional, adding an extra layer of delight to our stay. We will back.

Beautiful space in a really lovely part of town, great restaurant within walking distance and spectacular scenery once you left the house. Very clean and very good use of space. Well equipped and excellent service. We would definitely recommend for a short stay (small family).

A great place for exploring the area all is very quite and peaceful. The host Mr Filipe was incredibly he help me out with the directions for the place I need for the next morning and the surprise wellcome drink was very special.
