If you can ride a scooter, everything will be perfect. However, if you’re not familiar with scooters, it will take about ten minutes by bicycle to reach the first comfortable beach, “Pasai Beach.” Along the way, you’ll find a series of very cute little bars. I confirm that the beach in front of the property is not suitable for swimming. The only downsides are the breakfast and the cooking pot provided in the kitchen for self-catering it absolutely needs to be replaced!

If you want to escape the macrotourism of Thailand, this is the place. A bit more inland from the Khao Lak coast Sawasdee Homestay is a family owned business with beautiful new clean houses and all the amenities. The owners help you with your stay with practical tips to do in the area and they do their own cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They speak English and French fluently. It was also possible to rent a scooter for 300 bht / 24hrs to discover the amazing nationals parks nearby. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I stayed on May 10, 2025, at a resort with a stunning view by the sea, which also offered STARBOARD activities. The food was fresh, delicious, and truly worth it. The service was warm and attentive — the staff were very friendly. One staff member in particular, Khun Boy, guided me around the property, recommended dishes, and took care of me throughout my stay. I didn’t expect a resort located far from the city to offer service comparable to a 5-star hotel. Their attention to guests was exceptional, far exceeding expectations — especially considering the room rates, which were very reasonable.

The bungalow was perfect – spacious, clean, comfortable, with great air conditioning and an amazing view. The owner provided exceptional service, always kind and attentive to every request. He arranged a motorbike for us immediately upon arrival and even took us on a private boat tour around the nearby islands, which was truly special. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again!
