It looks more like a motel than a hotel on the outside, but it's very clean and tidy inside. The rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is basic, but sufficient. I also asked for a late check-out and they were accommodating of my request :)

Requested a room near Elevator as I have a slight mobility issue. I received a Confirmation E-mail from the hotel honoring my request but upon check in our room was located at the furthest point away from the elevators and the end of the hallway. Other than that the room was excellent.

It is not nice, you do not sleep, there is a lot of talking on the phone in the hall, and the room has a pipe of water in the bathroom, and when I arrived at the apartment, he said to me, “Give me 100€ as a guarantee for a bad apartment.”

It was my first visit in Canada , and my first NHL game in Toronto .
The apartment is on the 48th floor, next to the Scotiabank Arena.
Toronto has a great transport system as you can take not only the subway and tram but also the train to wherever you want to go by taxi, so it was great.
What I didn't know was that Toronto has a secret life, and that's the areas under the buildings where let you walk all over downtown, unaffected by the weather. This area is full of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and other shops.
CN tower was really highly, scary but the view from there was beautiful.
Niagara Falls ohhh was beautiful and powerful.

Ate on Dupont Street - lots of casual places with character. Transit very easy to navigate. Coffee and gelato excellent at Mizzica's. Would not bother with Hockey Hall of Fame - far too corporate and NHL -oriented.

It was over 40 years between visits to Canada and my first time in Toronto, it did not dissapoint. Toronto is a big city and you are spoilt for choice with where to stay. We stayed downtown as it was close to conference venue. You will want to spend time exploring the different neighbourhoods and if you get time, I would recommend a tip down to Hamilton and to Niagra. All serviced by the clean and reliable GO trains from Union station. Cose to the city I recommend walking through Kensington Market - which is a district rather than a market. On the weekend this place is heaving. You have a pletohra of great restaurants and a people watching paradise. Closer to downtown, a walk along King and Queen streets will reward you with street art, quirky shops, some of the best vintage stores I have been in and food options galore. Can also recommend a wander through Chinatown (Between Queen St and Kensington Market. The Distillery District is worth a look if you have time. The old distillery makes for an interesting backdrop to new residental buildings, shops, bars and restaurants. The UP trains from the airport (Pearson) to the city are your best option to get into the city. Around $12 and about 25 minutes - well worth it and a lot cheaper than taxis and Uber. Enjoy!
It has a great location, with everything at walking distance. It took us a couple of days to learn the TTC system (public transportation). After that, it was really easy to move around and get to places in Downtown Toronto. The reception staff was really friendly and the staff at the restaurant were very attentive too. The beds were comfortable, although smaller than other hotels (Full instead of Queen). The toiletries provided were of great quality (Dove) and we had no need to ask for extra after 4 days.
The location is outstanding. You walk out of the hotel and you're in downtown Toronto, eight minutes from the BlueJays, 10 minutes from the lake, 15 minutes from the Art Gallery (Which is excellent), the only walk we took that was a little too long there and back was maybe the University/ROM. It's a beautifully finished hotel that somehow lives in a culdesac and bang in the middle of town. Ice cream place across the road (it's just a cupboard so you have to find it) is great, you should check it out.
Very nice two bedroom apartment in downtown Toronto. Whole apartment for about the same price as a 2 queen bed hotel room. Easy walking distance to the CN Tower and Union Station. Lots of restaurant choices and things to do close by.
Coffee and tea provided which was a nice touch.. Kitchen with dishes and cookware provided if you want to make meals.
Check in and out very easy. The staff provided timely and detailed instructions for key pick up and for checkout.
The hotel is amazingly quiet, given its location in downtown Toronto, surrounded by construction projects. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated the full kitchen, which had very basic equipment, allowing us to self cater very comfortably. The staff were helpful and very prompt when we requested a few extra pieces of kitchen ware. Parking was easy and reasonably priced.
The Town Inn is definitely our home away in Toronto.
Fast, easy check-in. Received a room situated as requested and paid for. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Staff very nice and accommodating. Food at Turtle Jack's was very good. I usually stay here whenever in Toronto as it is often cheaper than a hotel downtown, and it's easy to get downtown & back with the UP Express. This was a good stay, but not the best we've had.
i love the location, when u step outside it is already the King Station. it is in the heart of downtown toronto. i really like the city view room.
Special thanks to Mathew who always greet us whenever we arrive in the hotel, you are such a jolly man and to the filipino guy who helped us bring our things to our room thank you so much for being so accommodating.
On our first visit to Canada, even though we had family spotted around we wanted to explore Toronto by our own means. My children watch a tv show "The Next Step" where we see the Sonesta Hotel at the start and when we booked it they were ecstatic. The location is so central and we were able to do trips via subway and walking distance to museums and shops.
The best thing about Chelsea Hotel is the location in Downtown. Sightseeing made easy from there!
Cleaning personnel was really tidy, refreshed towels and amenities every day.
The hair dryer is also a thing I really appreciated.
Beds are very comfortable, Queen Size Bed a bit to small for 2.
Getting a bit older now but this is the second or third time I’ve stayed here. The location is amazing and central to downtown Toronto. Everything is quite accessible.
But I do love the hotel the staff as super helpful and friendly.
I will return at some point again when business calls
I found the furnishings of the room and the hotel very appealing, very artsy. Nice thing also with the tablet that the hotel provides in the room. The Drake Hotel is located not far from Toronto Downtown, so you could reach many of the places worth seeing even on foot within 30 min.
'Check-in' was a breeze, I had my room key pre-setup on my phone and just walked in and right up to my room. It felt like a cross between a traditional hotel and an airbnb. I think its pretty decent value for being very central in downtown Toronto.
The hotel is in downtown Toronto, which was what I was looking for. The room was a generous size and the bed was comfortable. The price was reasonable for the location. The staff were helpful. Storing my bag for a few hours was not a problem.
The location of the hotel was walkable to major attractions and was located in downtown Toronto. The staff was also very helpful by providing directions and helping other elderly customers. The overall experience was a good one.
Downtown Toronto hotels are costly and this was a good option for a group of guys wanting watch a Jays game and just needed a place to sleep. Safe, clean and comfortable with a large buffet student res style breakfast.
Location, location, location. This condo is all about location, located in downtown of Toronto, best neighborhood in the area. Walking distance to museums, boutiques, restaurants, bars, etc. Love the area!
Hotel staff, ease of parking in the garage, bed, tv channel selection, location. The location was also quiet which surprised me considering the noise that would come off a major Downtown Toronto street.
- Location, location, location. Heart of Downtown Toronto.
- Good price for location and quality, compared to other hotels in Downtown Toronto.
- Professional pre-check-in communication from staff.
