So cool that there are two wc and even sauna. Dish washer and washing machine. Also cloth and boot dryer. I was surprised by the excellent flat sound insulation, I couldn't hear the neighbor at all. Ski lifts 5 min by foot. Very recommend.

The room and facilities are basic, but just fine, and I wished I'd stayed another night. Harri, who runs the place, and gives tours, could not have been more helpful, about Aalto, or the island location. Bus connections are good, with access to Muuratsalo and Aalto's Experimental House. At Saynatsalo, don't miss the excellent bakery on the ground floor, and there's a small pub with excellent home brewed beer by a marina. Enjoy the landscape, and the quiet of the lake. Finland at its finest.

The host was caring, the place was clean and we felt like at home. Own sauna was a huge benefit over other places.
