Comfy beds, everything clean, and the pool was very nice to cool off. Drinking coffee watching the sun rise at the balcony in the morning also was a highlight. We loved the beautiful garden with his dog, the chickens and the neighbor cat. Elmer and his family are so friendly, and they are willing to help with anything. He even arranged and gave us a Lago Yacumama tour, and we had a campfire our last night. It is a small drive from the city (we had a car), but Tuktuks regularly pass by and there are taxi's. I hope I get the chance to come back in the future!

Rosa's house is at walking distance from the centre of Puerto Maldonado (about 1 hour) but if you don't want to walk, you can take a tuktuk or a mototaxi passing by. I highly recommend this place !
