We absolutely loved all the space at Matterhorn Lodge - all the rooms are super spacious and the living areas are large and cosy. Most rooms have perfect views which just add to the luxurious amenities. Perfect place for entertaining our group on a cold Winter week.

Excellent stay at the country lodge! We had the whole house to ourselves and it was so nice to enjoy big full kitchen and make yourself fresh eggs for breakfast, enjoy big luxurious living room, lots of room for our baby to crawl around and explore. We also saw friendly sheep in the morning and it was lovely! Also location is great, especially if you, like us , continue next morning to Aoraki Mountain (Mt.Cook).

We both had our own rooms and ensuite bathrooms away from each other and we could shut our rooms off for more privacy. It was super cosy with the fireplace which we really enjoyed. The tv in the main room had all the movie apps you want for a movie night in. It had a great balcony and the view was great. It was also right in town so that was a big plus for us.

Each room had an ensuite, we also had a fireplace which was great. The apartments are very spacious. We didn’t have a car this trip but its a very easy 3 min Uber into town or a short walk, there is also a shuttle that runs on the hour. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
