The van served its purpose of somewhere to stop overnight on our travels. It was clean and comfortable. It was reasonably close to the town and to get back onto the highway.

Clean comfortable rooms & yummy breakfast. Booked at last minute to visit my dad in Armidale hospital and it made a stressful time easier knowing we had somewhere safe to sleep. Staff were lovely.

The manager is a very nice guy and is keen to make your stay as good as it can be. This is a small country Motel and is great for an overnight stay when travelling or a few days when visiting the New England area. Your car is under cover and the room arrangement suits both summer and winter in the area.

Armidale is a nice little town to drive around and has plenty of dining options. We particularly enjoyed our meal at the Whitebull Hotel - my 2 teenagers and I all thought our meals were some of the best we've ever had.
It's easy to navigate around the town whether driving or walking. There is an information centre in town with lots of pamphlets, maps and relevant info, as well as the place to book and start a historic tour of the town.
We visited to use Armidale as a base for visiting the many National Parks and reserves in the general area. There is so much beauty within a short or moderate drive. Ebor Falls is stunning and a super short walk. New England NP around the Point Lookout area is so beautiful with its Gondwana forest. Cathedral Rock NP is a contrast to this with giant granite boulders and lots of orchids and other flowers at the right time of year. South of Armidale is Apsley Gorge and falls, and Dangar Falls - both had minimal water coming over the falls when we visited, but were still so picturesque and would be amazing to see after a decent rainfall.

We only stayed for one night, on our way home to Queensland.
We only stayed for one night, on our way home to Queensland. We did not have a booking, but it was pet friendly. We googled the restaurants and hotels that were pet friendly, we found the Grand Hotel that catered to pet owners, it was was a lovely hotel, met a few "locals" made us feel at home, the meal was top notch, and our dog was very welcome. If we had more time, we would have loved to to stay in Armidale for few more days. It's a very interesting place to see and do things, we will definitely go back again .

Well laid out town with great options for restaurants, plenty of beautiful buildings and churches to look at. See Saw was a great breakfast coffee shop to fuel up for a big adventurous day.
The city mall center has great potential but the vibe has been affected by economic troubles.
Lovely people who run the motel, they were genuinely friendly and helpful, and they were also really nice about us locking the key in the room. The rooms are a really comfortable size with a small sitting area and functional little kitchenette plus bathroom. The wine and beer at reception is a civilized touch too. Everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained, good onsite parking, secure and quiet. We are very happy to recommend this as a great stay in Armidale - thanks!!! We will visit again
The food was great and of good quality. The breakfast which was hot was much appreciated as opposed to cereals and bread. My partner and I really liked staying at this place - out in the country but not too far from country Armidale. Inside the facility we loved being able to sit in the lounge area on comfortable chairs in front of a large open fireplace. As the kitchen was just in the next room the smell of food being cooked was sensually stimulating.
The motel is very clean and you cannot hear noise from other rooms, mine was extremely quiet. The motel is within walking distance to nice cafes, restaurants and the town centre. The room must be well insulated because it stayed warm throughout the night even though it was quite cold in Armidale when I travelled. My hosts were lovely, helpful and friendly. If I travelled to Armidale again I would book at Armidale Pines.
Great location within walking distance to plenty of top cafes/pubs/restaurants, spacious modern room, great service, would definitely stay again. My husband and I stayed for a combination of business and leisure plus I was heavily pregnant. The room was perfect having a separate living area with study and room to move. The staff made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
On arrival we where greeted by owners and they where so helpful and cheerful.
Upgraded us to the King suit in the new wing which was so nice.
Got to enjoy the lounge area and the fireplace after being directed to a great pub for dinner.
Coffee in the morning was fantastic, again directed by the owners.
So very nice from check in to check out.
If staying in Armidale, stay here.
Warm welcome by Izel when we arrived, she just so lovely, always with the smile. Very helpful. It was very impressive reception area. Very clean room, comfortable bed and spacious room. Plenty of car park.
When I ring the property I asked about the sauna, Izel prepared the sauna and spa for us even before we arrive. What a great service.
I felt like in the 5 stars hotel.
Exceeded expectations- newly renovated bathrooms etc , close to town (by car), clean, tidy, all basic amenities provided. Safe, quiet and I didn’t worry about my car at all if I left it there. Fine for women travelling alone or others who may feel vulnerable. Beds were spotless, large shower, large tv etc will be staying again if in Armidale.
Moore Park is a series of motel units situated in a lovely parkland setting 2 - 3 kms outside the townsite so a car is necessary. The units are a little dated but clean and comfortable for a short stay. When visiting Armidale a trip to the New England Art Gallery is a must for anyone interested in early Australian art.
Spacious room. Picked this hotel due to the twice daily deer feeding. (herd of 10). Has toaster, kettle ,microwave and a large bar fridge. Good location. A continental breakfast is included in room price.
Simple motel, clean, tidy and everything you need. Lovely welcome as we only booked that day. And after a week of staying in fancy hotels this was the best shower I had experienced.
Very well-presented, extremely friendly, and helpful staff, especially with check-in. Close to the bowling club, pubs and amenities. The newly refurbished bathroom was a bonus!
Super clean room with renovated bathroom, we really enjoyed our two nights stay and definitely come back to stay if we plan to visit armidale again, highly recommended.
Great little home to stay in, my husband and i walked into town, great location. I grew up in Armidale and it was the perfect location/stay to show my husband around.
Beautiful property a few minutes out of main town of Armidale. Rooms were immaculately clean and the property is peaceful & quiet with beautiful views.
