We found this on a long weekend coming home from somewhere else. The only room left we could find anywhere. We dont usually stay in pubs. From the start we were treated as special guests. Rooms are fairly small as most pub rooms are no TV or radio. Showed around and greeted by the owner(Dennis i think sorry if wrong im bad with names) I dont think we could have stayed for more than a night but for us overnight a feed in the dining room ( Rory i think was very friendly and couldnt do enough for the clientel.) and a comfortable bed was ideal. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again on the way through. Give it a go i dont think you will be disappointed. We stayed up for a while and sat in front of the fire with a cocktail and felt very posh.

Room was modern, clean and spacious. Bathroom had a walk-in shower with great pressure. Staff were excellent and were a massive help: contacting us asap when they realised we’d left behind 2 items. Would definitely stay here again.
