Very clean/comfortable room with the old school charm of Broken Hill. The shower/bathroom facilities were excellent and a delicious and thirst quenching selection of snacks and drinks in the mini-bar. The balcony is also a great spot to take a break and enjoy the views of downtown Broken Hill.

Clean, comfortable, convenient and well operated motel. The very good on site restaurant was a bonus and greatly appreciated after a long day driving. Friendly, efficient staff. No complaints.

We visited Broken Hill for three nights as a learning experience for out 10yo grand-daughter. There is lots to see and do - specially recommend: Outback Astronomy; Historic Daydream Mine; Royal Flying Doctor Service; Pro Hart Gallery; Menindee Lakes area, especially Historic Woolshed and drive out to Burke and Wills campsite; Living Desert National Park especially sculptures; Albert Kersten minerology and geology museum; Silverton, especially Mundi Mundi lookout and the cemetery; Block 10 lookout and Miners Memorial. You should get a 4WD vehicle to access all areas.

We stayed overnight only as a stop on a longer journey. From what little we saw, Broken Hill is steeped in mining history and pioneering in Australia. It's a clean and tidy town with good facilities and quite a lot to see. We intend to go back when time allows.

😊 Extra wide roads & footpaths, extremely friendly people, great weather, easy to navigate around town, parking was readily available & accessible, plentiful shops & cafes, tourist attractions great - was more to history of town than expected & locals are proud of this. BH Visitor Info Centre & Ladies at BH Family History Group & Caretaker at the Cemetary well all extremely helpful. Larry at Whites Mining Museum impressive display & great narrator of the BH History.
😒 sadly which is no fault of the locals - the countryside is dry & Barron.

Unfortunately I went when many tours were resting.
Unfortunately I went when many tours were resting.
This meant I could have booked privately but the cost was beyond me.
Travelling alone has its drawbacks.
Locals were very very helpful and I was offered and I accepted many lifts.
Being to the larger supermarkets.
Being to The Miners Memorial.
Broken Hill has a wealth of History and the multitude of information gathered on walks is brilliant.
Back home, friends were keen to listen to stories from Broken Hill and I felt vindicated for travelling there , given on my own .
PROBUS does do trips there but I am not a member.
Well Done, Broken Hill.
I would avoid going in Rest Time for Tour Companies.

Visited relatives but had our own freedom.
Visited relatives but had our own freedom. Dropped into the art gallery and most shops in the main street, used the facilities for dining but on one occasion dined at the Democratic club, would recommend a visit to Silverton
The property was clean and well stocked and maintained. It is at the end of the Iodide Street and Argent Street so within easy walking distance from eateries (Cafe Alfresca and The Palace Hotel) and within easy access to Broken Hill station and the Miners Memorial. Wednesday night was Karaoke Night at The Palace. Access in and out of town is via Iodide Street, The Barrier Highway and Silver City Highway. There is easy off-street parking.
Don't let the outside appearance fool you. The plain 1970's exterior hides a hidden gem. These apartments have everything you could ever ask for (and then some!). Modern , spacious, super clean with fast wifi, a big smart TV, beautiful Super King Bed and great linen. Even a lovely starter hamper. I suspect this is the best accommodation in Broken Hill. It was certainly the best we experienced on our NSW road trip.
Everything about this place felt like a home away from home. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom was spacious with plenty of towels to use. Service was fantastic, and the WiFi was top notch. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying at Broken Hill for a couple of nights. Location is great - as it is on the same road that takes you out to Silverton. Easily one of the best hotels we have stayed at!!
So glad we booked this place. Whilst it is not in Broken Hill itself, the park is well grassed, the King Spa Cabins are so good (perfect for family of four), and the refurbished Mount Gipps pub is brilliantly restored with great food. This resort is a must for anyone in a caravan or looking for a comfy room to stay
Historic hotel that is opulently decorated- feels like you are staying in a stately home! Cath was extremely friendly and went out of her way to provide recommendations on what to do and where to eat in and around Broken Hill. Conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre.
Great facilities and modern design, had everything we needed for a really comfy and quiet stay. Superb location within minutes walk to good eateries ( looking at you Silly Goat and Broken Hill Pub😃) shops and Broken Hill Art Gallery . Also close to many other attractions.
What a fabulous place. Out of town but such a lovely place to prop for a couple of days. Hotel was welcoming & friendly. Lovely deck to sit on and chat to other travellers. First night ate in the hotel, second night had pizza in our room from the pub. Both lovely.
We had a great stay in Broken Hill. Easy check-in. Large clean house. Located just around the corner from main street restaurants, bars and sights. 5 minute to shopping centres and supermarket. Glen was a great host and made sure we settled in comfortably.
The property was well maintained . There was everything that was needed for a self contained stay. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk for our two nights (3 people). The bathroom has been updated and the hot water was almost instant.
Comfortable, very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, modern bathroom and great garden space. 10-20 min walk to Main Street and supermarkets. 20 min walk from broken hill distillery and tydvil hotel which Is worth a visit!
Beautiful property that really taps into the heritage of Broken Hill. Well stocked with everything one needs for their stay. Nice and quiet location. Super friendly and helpful hosts. And best of all - pet friendly!
Location is good. There's no pub underneath as it might appear, just a bottle shop. No service at all from staff (was unable/uninterested in helping book an early morning cab, for example), but what can one expect.
The hotel was great, super friendly staff, super clean, and a great location. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to stay, the price was great for a 3 single bed room. They even provided clean linen each day!
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was good enough to spend the night in. The location is super convenient- walking distance to the main street with all pubs, bars and hipster shops
