Staff are so friendly and helpful. Very clean room and comfortable bed. We had an awesome meal here, a perfectly cooked Tomahawk steak. We also attended Glen Innes Parkrun and met some friendly locals. Highlight was a visit to a gin distillery very close by.

Glen Innes is a stepping stone to the New England high country, Celtic country..
Located on the intersection of the high way coming from the coast, and the Sydney to Brisbane New England highway.
Historical villages scattered throughout the area all within an hour or two from the CBD.
We used Glenn Innes as our base, one day stay, next day adventure, stay, adventure.

Love the countryside, particularly the beautiful shades of colours. The Standing Stones are an exceptional tourist attraction. I also love going to the Crofter's Cottage and the Strawberry Patch.

The external appearance looks dated, but the rooms themselves were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. A microwave would have been handy. Reception was open till late, as opposed to the 5pm closing time on booking.com. Nothing flash, but good value for money .Good for a short stay.

A lovely country town in the highlands..
A lovely country town in the highlands.. It seemed a very neat town, the friendly locals were very helpful. Best value and meal in The "Bowlo' {Bowls} club, great Chinese meals at very reasonable prices
Have stayed in a lot of motels and motor inns and this is probably the nicest of the lot. Older property but extremely well maintained, and amazing attention to detail and comfort. Towels, soaps, USB ports, EV chargers (don't have an EV but every room has one). They also have a cool breakfast room (building is from 1917) with plenty of healthy options. Helpful, friendly owners who are ACTUAL LOCALS. We'll definitely stay here next time in Glen Innes (which you should definitely visit as it's a great town).
Our time at The Bank Guest House was short but very satisfying. It's a delightful place to be not just because it is right in the main street for shopping and tourist activity but because it is a delight - characterful, charming and spacious! There are renovations still taking place but the room we had was excellent and the living room warm and inviting. The breakfast Phil made for us the next morning was scrumptious! We will visit again when we are at Glen Innes
Beautiful old bank building converted into lovely guest house. Very comfy and spacious. Open fireplace in the shared lounge area. Excellent traditional guesthouse (not motel) style rooms. Shared kitchen for making tea and coffee. Well located in Glen Innes. In the main shopping street, not on the highway. Opposite a traditional hotel and close to cafes and shops. Very friendly and informative host. Breakfast was great.
We love the breakfast room. Eating breakfast here is such a pleasant way to start the day when you're travelling. This was the main reason we chose to stay again at the Glen Innes Motel.
We were also impressed by the thoughtfulness of the staff in turning on the heaters in our room ahead of our arrival-so welcoming on a cold winter's day!
A clean, modern, quiet room that was comfortable to stay in. Friendly, helpful staff. Utilized the restaurant, room service and take out for hot drinks which were all great. The meals were high quality, both in taste and presentation. Beautiful restaurant! Highly recommend this hotel.
Is in a quite location, & an easy walk to the main street. The room is clean & tidy, has bunk beds which are a bonus and the main bed is comfortable. These units are good value for money and the staff are extremely friendly.
Will stay again when next passing through Glen Innes.
Room was very comfortable, and very clean. Note I stayed elsewhere in Glen Innes previously and this far outranked the other facility,
Bed was comfy
A dining table with chairs, plus an 'easy' table with comfy chairs
Good shower and again bathroom was spotlessly clean
Loved the help yourself breakfast
Loved the history and style of the hotel from the foyer to the room the balcony all of it , staff were great check in was easy and it’s a convienient location, quiet and comfortable
We checked in after dark and had a fabulous meal in the restaurant.
We had breakfast at another location in Glen Innes.
Room was quiet, comfortable and warm and comfortable to stay.
As a guest from Scotland, the hotel was like stepping into a time warp back home. I loved the traditional scottish decor, super authentic. Staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating!
The room was wonderful... Plenty of room, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows (this is lacking in a lot of hotels now)... It's been recently renovated and looks great...
