Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel, hotel in Grattai

Set in a 160-year old building, Cobb & Co Court Boutique Hotel offers free WiFi, a bar and a restaurant. All accommodation has a flat-screen TV.

Perfect location, walking distance to the pubs, cafes and restaurants. My room was on the ground floor which led to the restaurant and courtyard. The lady at reception was a delight. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of pressure.Definitely stay again. The only drawback was the fact that there was no parking on the property. You had to park on the road opposite the hotel because of the time limit

Grattai is beautiful countryside surrounded by mountains, with a light cloudy mist resting above them. It is especially gorgeous with autumnal trees. I can recommend 'Grattai Grove', the property where we staid. Entering by dirt road, kangaroos leap by. On arrival the beautiful vistas of grape vines and olive trees are enhanced by spaces created by the hosts - eg. deck chairs by the pond, a hammock between the trees, an animal shed with donkeys, goats and cats dwelling together. Floor-to-ceiling windows from the dwelling, impress that you're living amongst it all. Welcomed by a warm fire, and thoughtfulness of freshly squeezed orange juice and milk in the fridge, and a table set with Sourdough, butter, farm laid eggs, and bottles of GG-produced Olive Oil and Wine. The friendly dogs greeted us too. The bedding was cosy, and the antique deep bath was thoroughly enjoyed. Little touches like bath salts did not go unnoticed, or did the interiors' sense of design, functionally and care, including a classic coffee machine. What's more the hosts are lovely people and were happy to show us around. We would've happily stayed longer and hope to come back soon.

A wonderful natural bush setting away from the bustle of city life but close enough to the excellent town of Mudgee. A destination well suited to local, national and international travelers. The owners go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is just perfect with many generous touches to make the stay even that more perfect. Highly recommended for travelers of all ages.

As we were not there very long it is hard to give it the due it would normally receive. We enjoyed seeing the handiwork of of our host. We needed to supply our own food. We did not have young children to entertain.
