The Surf Yamba, hotel in Iluka

Located in Yamba, within 500 metres of Yamba Lighthouse and 100 meters to Main Beach.

Perfect location right by main beach, the rooms are perfectly designed and I loved the rooftop pool area. We stayed in the cheapest room (no view) but didn’t feel like we missed out too much, the design was perfect, bed really comfortable and rooftop view made up for no bedroom view. Would book to stay here again for sure.

If you’re after a quiet place to stay it’s great .

If you’re after a quiet place to stay it’s great . The options for takeaway and restaurant food and groceries are limited at best. The locals are friendly , bring some insect repel ant as sand flies can be ferocious near the water and everywhere at dawn and dusk. I enjoyed my stay. If you surf and fish you’ll love the place💯👍

The location and the town were really chilled which was the right kind of relaxation that was needed. It's noisier cousin of Yamba was a nicely incovenient distance away so there was a stark difference in the number of tourists. That was a good thing. Iluka and the Clarence River, along with the rainforest, mangroves and wild beaches were really great to visit. Kayaking on the Esk River was relaxing and quiet. Iluka is a bit of a haul from Sydney but next time would break up with a night in between each way.

Off the beaten track so quieter and less commercial . Catch ferry over to Yamba , cute busy community. Went for fishing but very windy conditions, lots of sandbanks. Not enough time to explore rain forest or the beach which looked beautiful at a glimpse.

the apartment was a great size, having 2 single beds in the main area and a queen bed in a separate bedroom. I was able to connect to the internet and work without disturbing others. Kitchen and full sized fridge was also very handy. Centrally located, we were able to walk to cafes, restaurants, IGA, but her, bakery, and much more. Beaches were a short drive away - best thing about Iluka! The property also had a laundry and they were upgrading the Central BBQ facilities. parking was plentiful.

Hubby needed a mini vacation to do some fishing and Iluka was our destination. We were very pleased with our choice of accommodation for our Spa cabin was clean, well equipped and spacious. Location was close enough for the drive to the rock wall. The surrounds around Anchorage were nice and quiet with well kept lawns and gardens. Will definitely visit again.

Iluka is a beautiful town. We were so central to everything, a walk or a bike ride away. The place was super close to the river, which was great for a swim or a fish. And the unit had everything we needed to have a great holiday.
