Maryborough has the Brogla Theatre which is a very popular destination, accommodation wise Maryborough prices are cheaper than Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay is only a 1/2 drive, Maryborough has some nice restaurants, or pub meals, for better value prices. It's an easy town to get around, and nice to stay for a short stay.

Maryborough is a lovely country town to walk around with many beautiful traditional buildings. Fabulous and well kept gardens. Queens park is a must to visit and to walk by the river. Don't miss the Portside museum, Mary Poppins statue and the Mary Poppins figure on the walk and don't walk pedestrian signs at the traffic lights. Really helpful and friendly people with many comfortable cafes selling quality coffee and locally made savoury and sweet items. Fun, interesting Thursday morning markets with home made products and quality fresh produce to see and to buy. Overall, a traditional, friendly country town experience.

An historic town that is very under rated.
An historic town that is very under rated. Far too many interesting places to see in a short stay.
The museums/galleries were excellent - particularly the "Story Bank" - P L Travers (Mary Poppins) birthplace.

At the Carriers Arms, the meals were excellent, and the accommodation was value for money. Its location is ideal on the edge of the CBD and a short trip to the Brolga Theatre. The Brolga Theatre is also a perfect venue, just the right size.

We have been to Maryborough heaps of times, it is a lovely place to visit.
My Great Grandparents settled there when they came out from Ireland, my Grandfather was born there. I feel a connection with Maryborough every time we visit.
Thank You Cathy Barnes
Airy spacious living area and kitchen. Large bedroom with plenty of room for storage for two. There was an outside garden to enjoy. We stayed five nights and the available facilities were mostly catered for home cooked meals.
Would recommend a stay at this fabulous accommodation.
Wifi worked well and binging on Netflix was entertaining when not out and about exploring Maryborough and Hervey Bay
Amazing and beautifully restored property very close to the centre of Maryborough. Wendy was an amazing host and made me entirely at home in my temporary home. This is the perfect heritage property to stay at to experience the amazing heritage of Maryborough. Only 200 metres from the rail bus service at the old Maryborough Station, linking to long-distance trains at Maryborough West Station.
the attendant who welcomed me was lovely. Made sure i was able to lock my door and had everything i needed. It is basic, but if you are looking for cheap with a good location for a one night stay, this is the place. Just off the highway, you dont need to go into maryborough. basic amenities but for a place to sleep, its fine.
Everything was as expected from a rent a room. I have to say the screen with your welcome you in person name and surname and the availability of chrome casting from your device on top of the already available entertainment was great. Made you feel special and looked after in some way.
Everything was perfect for our needs. Everything is comfortable and nice smelling meaning clean and fresh. This place is a 10/10 every week of the year compared to other dumps in town. Also staff/ service and 24 hr express pin check ins are much much needed.
Very clean and comfortable. We were in Maryborough to trade at the Fraser Pop Festival, so this suited our needs perfectly. It has a full kitchen so we could cook our bacon eggs for breakfast before most cafes are open. Great location and nice and quiet.
A beautiful heritage building in the heart of Maryborough. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and the lounge and library were lovely. The host, Wendy, is very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is also great.
Our second stay here (which we would not do if we didn't like it). The associated hotel next door serves very good meals. The motel building is quite old but the owners have done a great job in the renovated rooms.
Located directly opposite the Maryborough Hospital it was perfect for our visit to Maryborough and on arrival staff were extremely friendly and helpful in settling into our beautiful clean room.
The room was clean and the hotel in a good location close to town. It was great value and the host was super helpful, advising where we could get good meal and great morning coffee.
Location was great. Able to walk everywhere. Really enjoyed being a tourist in Maryborough. Relish Festival was great. Evening meals next door at the White Lion Hotel were excellent.
Great cottage, very cosy & comfortable in a quiet location. Really appreciated the extra touches Jackie & Daryl provided. Highly recommend for a stay in Maryborough.
Smooth and easy booking, we travelled from Perth to Maryborough. Last minute decision so was nice to be able to book a room straight away without any hassles.
