The Continental breakfast was a bonus. The location was excellent and close to everything in the centre of Maryborough. The building was gorgeous, and the architecture and decor were excellent. The room was quiet despite there being many other guests in the building.

It was obvious the owners took pride in the motel. Little touches like the digital clock being away from a location which would shine in your eyes during the night or finding a bucket with a window wiper for the cars outside the room.

Clunes is a quaint town with a long settlement history. Had a great breakfast on Sunday morning at Widow Twankeys.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space inside. Also outdoor area. Kitchen was well equipped. Large fridge and freezer. We didn’t require the disabled access but it was available. Water was hot. Laundry facilities were excellent with choice of hanging clothes outside or placing in the dryer. We appreciated the double lockup garage as we were towing a trailer. Large TVs in both lounge and bedroom. Three bathroom’s and bedrooms available. Also air conditioning worked well as due to the house’s aspect it can get cool on a cloudy/wet day. Easy access to local shops.
Bird Abode is located in Maryborough. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Outdoor dining is also possible at the apartment.
